Great spot to rent e-bikes in the summer. The staff is helpful and friendly. The bikes are great and a blast to ride around town.

Local in mammoth, bought a baker deck and it started to chip and break the first session. I have owned many baker decks in the past and they have never broken this quick. They told me that's just how decks wear and insisted that I had no skate experience, I have been skating for 15 years.

Went in there to get a new snowboard and got pointed to the Jones Frontier. Not the most expensive board from Jones they had, but as it would turn out, exactly what I wanted for how I ride. If you’re looking for knowledgeable help that isn’t just going to point you to the most expensive thing they have, this is the place.

I love this place. Tuned 2 of my boards dropped off at 6 pm, and I was able to pick them up at 730 in the morning.

Tore Mammoth upside down looking for a shop with snowboard binding hardware. No dice, until the last shop said just go to Wave Rave. Wave Rave got me sorted in seconds. Nice dudes behind the desk. Sick gear selection and the shop brand stuff is dope too. Will be back.

Stopped by today and found the snowboard I wanted to buy in the right size. The board had a dent on it, not critical, but a visible cosmetic defect (all the boards in the shop are unpacked, so anyone can scratch them when pulling from the stand).
I was actually fine to buy it but double-checked with a staff member if they have another one in stock. It was $600 board after all. He didn't find one but offered a 10% discount. Sounds great. I went to the register downstairs and explained the situation. "Who told you this? I can't give a discount without permission".
I did not know the name of the guy, so went upstairs again to ask for help. Another staff member saw me walking with the board and asked if I need any help. Explained the situation. "Who told you this? " again. Seriously? There is only one guy helping out people in front of you right now. Then something strange happened. He took the board, started spinning it, and told me that they have a line of hundreds of people willing to buy the board with a defect at a full price, and they will sell it anyway, and that is how they do their business. That monolog lasted 5 minutes, I was shocked and walked away. That's insane. He could just apologize that they made a mistake when offered the discount and I would have bought it. Terrible customer service.

This store is beautiful! The staff are always really nice & helpful:) I buy all my gear from Wave Rave when I go to Mammoth Lakes! Thanks Guys! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this snowboard shop.

Store is beautiful, tons and tons of inventory as well. Only issue is the staff seems like every question is an inconvenience. Not sure the techs treated my board with what It needed, and instead just did what was easiest. Can’t say I left with a good feeling, probably will look elsewhere on my next visit.

Went to Rave Wave to rent e-bikes.
Never before have I been able to find any where around Sacramento to try the experience.
Hands down the best shop and staff.

We had a bad experience renting bikes here. We had mechanical difficultly and the toddler carrier was broken in a dangerous way. You have a lot of places to rent bikes in mammoth / I would not rent from here. Service was poor.

Ashley was AMAZING! I was struggling with a purchase, she worked with me and I left so happy! She is the best!

If you know what you want I guess this place is fine. I was hoping to get some advice on snowboard boots but the workers there weren’t helpful at all. I told the guy I was looking for a flexible, comfortable beginner boot. I’m pretty sure the dude just handed me the first boot he saw in my size because it was a super stiff, aggressive boot.

If you’re looking for people who can give you advice and help you find the right gear this is not the place.

Awesome! Our 2nd year renting gear for the kids here. Unfortunately one of the girls ended up in ER. When i went to return her board, Wave Rave waved the remaining fees. I absolutely will rent from them again. And i recommend you do the same. Thanks wave rave!

I bought a snowboard jacket and tried to return it the next day. It was never worn and tags were still on. Staff very rudely told me I could not return the jacket. The manager and staff were very very condescending and unprofessional. It was the first time I ever left a store in tears and very upset due to how I was treated.

I got my boots here and wasn't too impressed with the service but the ppl seemed knowledgeable. I came a second time for bindings and wanted the female cartel x and was pointed to the Lexa x which are basically the same. They waxed my board and mounted the bindings for me and gave me a lot of tips on how I can change it based on the feeling. I'm a new rider so the info was very helpful. I'm honestly rating it a 4 because I think a lot of places here should offer a first responder discount or military discount. I'm pretty sure it says they do on their site.

To begin, I was here 2 months ago and rented a board from Wave Rave. Sunday I didn’t ride the board and came in about 10 minutes past the time it was due and they still charged me an extra day.

Fast forward to now, walked in to get a rental from them again despite what happened before and I’ve never met a pair of employees in the rental area that were more rude and absolutely unapologetic for it.

This place is a waste of space and I would highly advise to never use their shop or rental boards.

Staff are super laid back, all riders, no posers. They no their stuff and have a great selection of gear. Can't see how anyone would say anything else about the crew working there.
