Welco Supermarket reviews
12Yesterday around 7pm I went to get a box of oyster and got it to the house N around 9pm we start to cook a lot of the oyster has no meat and the oyster was so small I will never buy from them no more want a wast of $66 dollar so Disappointment.
Update: They actually cleaned the tanks!
The seafood is probably the most disgusting part about this place besides the prices. Live animals kept in tight dirty spaces. The fish they have on ice smells absolutely disgusting. The shellfish are just stacked on top of each other with little to no water. This is animal cruelty.
I was so glad to see this store still open after all these years! My mom would send me here to pay her bills and pick up grocery! Best memories ever!
First time to this supermarket. Although the area is not very large. But the items are arranged neatly and orderly clean. The staff is also very friendly. It is worth everyone to go shopping
I hesitate to give this a high rating because I don’t want to give away this hidden gem. This is my local market. They have excellent hot food and great produce. Extensive ramen/noodle options and the snack aisle is. Yes, tight aisles and very close quarters but that’s because this place is PACKED with yummy options and cool cooking items.
Great neighborhood store. Always my gonto when I need to pick something extra up for dinner. The hot Chinese food is good, especially the chicken chow mein. Live seafood is kn point also.
It's cute and has lots of desserts however it did not have what we were looking for cream bun.
They sell, probably everything.well almost everything. I'm talking about food.but the biggest let down is they, (at least the two I approached with questions) totally lack care for the customers.bordering on being rude.
I love buying my shrimps, crab, and pork meat from them. My only complaint is, the staff needs customer service training. I stood at the back counters for way too long.there were lots of workers behind both the seafood counter, and the meat counter and no one offered to service me. I had to say excuse me several time (still no acknowledgement). They should never, ever ignore a customer. My second complaint is, it seems no one speaks, or understand english. When I had to walk around the whole store to find help with finding a product, I kept getting "I DON'T KNOW"answers in a rude manner (I could tell the person spoke no english). Seems only a couple of cashier s speak/understand english. All of this is not good for business. My Hope's are they will work hard to improve the customer service, and Well as hire more employee's who are bilingual.
Great local grocery store with a huge selection of hard to find Asian ingredients but slightly disorganized
We went to the welco food Pop up which was really fun with amazing food. In Particular (not photo-ed) was Fresh off the Boat which was incredible.
