Since June postponing my appointment, now it is on October,
I guess Whole clinic has one (part time) doctor,
Save your time and find an other clinic.

I tried to switch my doctor to Dr. Sands after reading great reviews about her, regardless of the horrible reviews about the communication and staff/facilities. I should have listened. I scheduled my new patient appointment in August. When I arrived for my appointment, they informed me that they had moved my appointment back a few weeks, yet no one had contacted me. The day of the new appointment, I find out that the doctor isn't in and they reschedule me for the next month. Then I get a phone call the day before the NEW (and now 3rd) appt saying the doctor won't be in and the earliest they can get me in is NOVEMBER. I figured fine.at least I got a notice. Then today, I received a call that YET AGAIN the doctor will not be there and the next appointmet is December. Waiting 5 months just for a new patient appointment is ridiculous. I can't even get an appointment, and I will be switching doctors immediately. Their lack of care for the patient's and other people's time is very apparent. If I could give them a 0, I would.

Very upset. Had a phone appointment scheduled and they never bothered to call me yet put me down as a no show and lied saying they called 3 times. Then I call to see if I can get my results only to be told the next phone appointment isn’t until end of September. This place should not be in business at all. Had test done almost 3 months ago now and still can not get my results. I feel that some of the doctors with these Well Space offices just don’t care about their patients and are just there to get paid.

I'm saddened, but not surprised, by the plethora of negative reviews, and the low aggregate score for this Well space location. I think that patients of all healthcare organizations should learn to keep their expectations realistic. Well space health is an organization designed with low income patients in mind. They do an excellent job, at reasonable cost, with very limited resources. The inherent frustrations that patients experience here are the reality of modern managed care. I personally know people who don't receive care this good through PPO plans. I have never had a problem communicating with wellspace health, when using the central customer service number. I always get call backs when leaving a message, and messages I leave for my doctor always get through. Regarding my doctor, I can honestly say that Sandra Sands is the best physician I've ever worked with. She is a deeply caring and devoted professional, worthy of respect and admiration. I would suggest that patience of any medical organization refrain from expectations of being treated like royalty. Trust me, you will have a much better experience as a result.

I have the same complaint as other patients. I have been on hold for what seems like an hour only to get disconnected by them or the phone service they have. Even after going through all the options to get a person in any department. I also had a phone appointment in which the doctor asked me what I wanted when I told him that I was a new patient and need a complete physical with blood draw for my meds. Sadly I have used 2 of their locations and they both lack customer care.

Uncaring, unprofessional and unorganized is the best way to describe this facility. I’ve never been so disappointed in every visit I have had with them. I will never go back the this circus, and I would highly recommend you tell your friends not to go there because these people don’t care on every level.

Do yourself a favor and go to any place besides wellspace health. They are almost as bad as hell itself, but at least in hell someone will pay attention to you

Very unprofessional, they are there to schedule un needed tests to bill your insurance for their own pockets, I've been trying fir two years to get a cataract surgery and they keep wanting tests that have nothing to do with signing a permission slip to have the surgery. Ekg's, stress tests, bloodwork, blood work, say only one issue can be talked about, if you have any other hwalt issues you need to make a appointment which can be two to five months away and if you ask to be seen at another Wellspace to get seen sooner when you go to another clinic the doctor is on vacation or they say they tried cling you but you never get a call. And don't even try to get a prescription refled they will forget about you to you personally go in and tell them you need a refill

I have Dr Sands for my doctor. She is very knowledgeable and kind. She takes the time to answer any questions I have about my medical conditions. Positively my favorite doctor ever and that's saying a lol because I'm a senior citizen these days. Lol So thank you Dr Sands

This place is impossible to make an appointment with, I tried three different times and never got a call back, then when I finally did get a call back they were absolutely rude and unhelpful. I have a major heart condition and couldn't even get a refill on the medication even though they don't have an appointment for over two months. Then she tried to refer me to an Urgent care. So I'd have to deal with an Urgent care Doctor to get two months worth of prescriptions, then have to go deal with Wellspace in TWO MONTHS, then deal with them again. I've never been treated so rudely in my life by a medical office, the woman I dealt with was a disgusting human being and shouldn't be in the customer service field under ANY circumstances.

If I can give a negative star I would. My mom was being seen at Wellspace Folsom by Dr. Sands. She was first given an appt by Wellspace Alhambra for the folsom location on a day that the folsom location was closed. And if that's not bad enough, it takes months to get another appt. She gets to folsom location 4mins late, walks up to receptionist and gets told to sit and wait. She gets called and is told that she is 7mins late and that they have to cancel her appt. I am a nurse that works in a clinic so I know how scheduling works and how this event is a complete BS. Please, DO NOT use their service. Save yourself some pain and time.

I went to the folsom office because of Dr. Sands. She changed locations. Staff was polite and helpful.

Horrendous, avoid at all cost. Drive to Canada or get your medical treatment in the back alley of a strip club if you have to. Don’t go here. They will not help, only waste your time and sanity.

I give zero stars! They never answer the phone. They will not send referrals to specialist, won’t send records, won’t do preauthorizations for medications. It’s the definition of medical negligence. I have a chronic illness and I have not been able to see a specialist since April! It’s almost February! I have ran out of my medication that I’m supposed to take everyday! They won’t fax anything or get anything done! Run away from this place!

This is 3rd time making an appointment automatically canceling without any reason, reception desk is very rude behavior and not answering the phone

I really appreciate the visit I just had with Dr. Sands. Not only was she extremely supportive, knowledgeable, and helpful, but so was the rest of the staff in the office. I had all my questions answered and felt supported in finding next steps with a few chronic concerns I've had over the past years. I totally agree with other reviews that the communication with "wellspace" is bad, they don't answer the phone for hours and call you back hours later. That being said, I think it's important to distinguish this specific office with Dr. Sands and staff from the major "wellspace" company that does all the communication and appointment scheduling from their central hub. This is why I"m giving a 5-star review, because my personal care with Dr. Sands and staff was absolutely fantastic. I wish they were supported more from "wellspace" to make their jobs a little easier, and that wellspace (main company) would create a more dependable and supportive communication system between us patients and the physicians.
