Wendy's, San Diego CA

I go to other Wendy’s often and it’s always a good experience. This Scripps Poway Parkway location, however, was a complete mess. They need to tear the whole thing down and start over. The bathrooms are disgusting, the entire interior of the dining room has not been updated since 1992, there was a fruit fly in the dining room (probably from the bathroom), there were no condiments available in the dining room, staff was not welcoming or proactive in any way. Wendy’s should revoke the franchise from this careless owner, it makes the whole company look really bad.

Would not allow customers inside the restaurant. No where is it posted that you are not allowed inside.

I was just at this location on 12/6/22 @7: 00pm and was allowed inside the cafe to pick up a DoorDash order. Why is there randomly changing rules?

Ordered southwest avocado salad and asked if I could have breaded chicken instead of the grilled chicken. They charged me $3 more for the even exchange. Was not told at any time that it would cost extra. Did not receive a receipt either. Staff was not friendly at all, as if they don’t know how to talk. They just hand you your stuff with out saying a word. Very disappointed

The dining room was closed at 653 at night when dining hours say its open till 10 pm. Just look at drive thru line

It's just like every other Wendy's, the food was ok, I felt like the burger was kinda dry. The fries were good, and Wendy was looking hella mid so I was disappointed bout that. 3 stars

Wendy's vary widely by location. This one was horrible. The food was old and cold. They had no napkins or ketchup out.they has the world's smallest ketchup packets about half a teaspoon.hamburger made hours ago

Doors are locked a lot, drive through is slow, frosty machine “broken”, frequently out of tomatoes/lettuce, teenage staff dgaf and don’t know what they are doing…I've lived near here for almost 3yrs and it hasn’t improved. Most disappointing Wendys ever.

Service has improved and the burgers are always what you expect, pretty bomb but the fries usually cold.

Unbelievable how many times ive had my order screwed up here but today was the last straw pun not intended because i didnt get a d**n straw

chicken in my sandwich was *wet* and clearly microwaved

none of the condiments i asked for

no straw no spoon and i got a frosty? How exactly am i supposed to eat it, with my hands?

Worst Wendy's. Drive thru line is slllloooowwww. Went to do a mobile order then find you can't walk in to pick it up, AND they won't bring it out to you either. You have to go through the drive thru. The manager here is not doing a stellar job. Definitely doesn't have the A Team working and seems to not have an entire team at all. Also the Wendy's sign looks a bit demonic.

If you're going to post that your dining room is open at 9AM, then at least make sure it's actually open. Got here at 935 and it was closed.

It's Wendy's. The food is what you expect. The service at this location was standout because the employee was very nice, answered questions and provided the service exceptionally well.

The drive through people are rude and disrespectful. Called the manager, she didn't care. Called, left complaint at the corporate office. Never heard back

Closed Saturday night when we arrived at 10: 20, dark and nobody inside like had been closed a while.

For a Wendy's it was good. They got the order right and the staff was very pleasant. The drive through is easy to get to. Parking is good. Dine in, take out or delivery are available.

Wendy's food is delicious but the dining room wasn't open you lost three customers.

The older woman at the front was rude and dismissive. I'm spending my money here; you get paid here to serve people until closing time. It's not too hard to smile at people and ask them what they actually need, I've done it all my life and I'm half your age. Learn some manners or get replaced as you just work at a fast food chain. Get replaced.

This place constantly closes early. I’m talking an hour or two early. They block off the drive thru early. Your staff sucks. Get worthy employees.

The closers tonight were very rude. I was given a DoorDash order pickup, and when I arrived they were closing up. I tried calling and they hung up. So I walked to the door and no one would make eye contact. I called again and this time she answered- I did not get a name. I explained how I was delivering food and needed to pick up the customers order. She began yelling at me about how it’s not her problem and they were closed. I’m just confused because the order must’ve arrived prior to closing and they ignored it. I lost out on money and it’s just sad how rude people can be. I know it wasn’t something she cared about, but her yelling and unfriendliness was not a good way to handle the situation.

The line was long but only because they were short staffed… food and service was excellent!
