Wendy's, El Cajon CA

Excited to try the new pumpkin frosted coffee. Gross. Save your money. The El Cajon location is overrun by homeless people in and around the drive-thru. Will not come back.

LIARS! Says lobby open till 10: 30p.m. Plain and simple 9: 17p.m. They close there doors because ther to lazy to be fully open the hours THAT THEY POST. Then I call to ask what's going on and the lady puts the phone down walking away saying cursing in spanish. This is not ok and I will be contacting whoever cares about how this restaurant treats customers because the night staff clearly doesn't. UPDATE thought I would give a chance since its been at least a year. Nope escorted to another spot to wait for food. Forgot 3 items and locked door with no way to get a hold of someone inside because they ignore you and a 20min drive thru line to wait for our food. This place is hot garbage and there employees ignore customers and are disrespectful plain and simple. No wonder people burn places down.

They lured us in with special deals during hamburger day. And all of their systems were down and the employees could not keep up. We went to McDonald's and Jack in the box!

Carmen is a super star! We were very sad because the app did not load our rewards. Carmen assisted with our phone, and we got our hard earned fries! The food is hot, fresh, and appetizing. Thank you Carmen, amazing customer care!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was exactly what I expected. I was in ordered and gone and just a moments

My queso fries were bland and boring topped off with shredded cheddar cheese NO THANKS! The queso had no flavor and was runny. Definitely not worth what I paid next time I'll just make my own.

The customer service was very low. I could not hear him in the drive thru because he was mumbling. When I got to the window is told him it's very hard to hear him he mumbled something else. I said I can't hear you so I started talking to him at the same volume ironically he said what did you say I can't hear you. I said that's exactly how you sound at the speaker.

Always something wrong at this Wendys. Check your food before you leave it’s either not fresh or they are forgetting something. This time they forgot straws and the double pecans for my salad.

The person accepting orders through the drive through was short with me, and second guessed my order and didn’t acknowledge the correction. I ordered a sandwich with Pub Fries. They asked if I meant regular fries. I said no I would like Pub Fries. They updated the screen so I was satisfied they had gotten the order correct. Then I went to the window, payed for my meal including the pub fries. The staff in the window seemed more interested in chatting with each other than making sure everything is good to go. I didn’t check the order then and there because I almost never have a problem with drivethroughs but come to find out when I get home, I was charged for the pub fries, but never received them.

Do yourself a favor, don’t go to this location if you want to make any kind of alteration to a standard meal, the attention to detail just isn’t there to make sure your meal leaves the window correct.

Every time I order they mess things up. Every single time I order my order is wrong, and it's so frustrating because I love Wendy's and there aren't many around.

I had a fresh and delicious Strawberry Salad! It was so good! If I had any criticism, I wish Wendy's had more vegetarian options on their Menu. Thank you!

Got a great double-double wrap with lettuce exactly the way I asked. The meat was superior the food tasted great

Girl working drive-thru speaker on 6/20/2023 around 8: 50pm has a problem speaking in coherent sentences. Then has the nerve to have an attitude when you ask her to repeat. Sorry I didn't know a moaning noise meant I should pull up to the window.

I asked for chilli with no cheese or onion.
I got chilli with a bunch of cheese added and large chuncks if raw onin. When I checked the recept, it was NOT for my order. FAILED!

I have had many an issue with service coming into this wendy's. It seems like the workers at all times are more concerned with gossiping or their own troubles than they are with the concerns of customers. Additionally today in the middle of the breakfast menu rush when restaurants traditionally make the most money i got turned away at the door because i wasn't in a car.

Thankfully me and my ride had separated just because we had separate transactions and it was easier, so when he drove back around i was able to still order but i shouldn't be turned away at all. This Wendy's simply put does not really seem to care about customers.

If there were another Wendy's nearby i would never bother going to this one.

I got the Baconator Combo this time. The sandwich was sloppily assembled. NOT customized as requested the fries were OK but not hot. No complaint about drinks seems like the played the same half dozen songs on intercom over and over and over again. I met 2 friends for lunch. They both enjoyed thier food.

4 buck deal is a good deal. This store is pretty consistent for quality and speed. Love the 6 buck deal. Had the ghost pepper fries. Tasty but not what I expected for ghost pepper. More of a hype than anything, but still good.
