Great place to get a smog check, they are pretty fast here. They towed my car once after an auto accident and made sure I had everything I needed out ov my vehicle prior to it being towed. They also offered to take me somewhere where I could wait until someone came and picked me up.

We got stuck in the mud at Hunter Liggett. We hooked up the winch to three different trees and had another truck try to pull us out. It was a no go. AJ showed up worked his magic and had us on the road in no time. He was confident, quick, and professional. I would highly recommend his services for offroad recovery.

Brought a car in to get a timing chain done with 160k miles. Brought it in 3 times due to it being a 5 to 6 hour job I came early to drop off and on the last visit after my cars been there 2 times before, valve cover off and all they tell me they cannot do a timing chain on a car with this high of miles. 160k? You don't need to do timing chains on cars with low miles do you? If your not equipped for the task just say so but telling me I need a new engine is just straight insult. Called a mechanic in paso with way better ratings and guy said that makes no sense his input was he don't think they know how to do it tbh.makes no sense if you guys don't do timing chains on engines at 160k how about you not waste my time with 3 separate visits and just tell me you guys think I need a new engine.

Towed my car and messed it up. Never even an apology. Just we will fix it. AAA is the only reason. Be careful. Used to recommend to everyone. Never again.

Charge $300 an hour for emergency winching. Felt like I got robbed. We arrived back in Atascadero at approximately 11: 30 and I know he didn't leave the shop until 8: 30 but still charged me for 4 hours of winching. Im living in my car rn and I feel like I got robbed. Maybe $150 an hour but $300? I paid $1200 for 3 hours worth of work.

I have used West Coast many times and am always pleased with the staff and service. When I use them to smog my car and it is quick and easy. Having AAA has let me get my car towed a few times and battery replacement from West Coast. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend them!

AAA - I have had AAA for eighteen years and I cannot say enough about West Coast Towing. This is the best, most dependable and efficient tow company on the Central Coast. I tried to get my classic car to my preferred shop in Los Angeles for three days and kept getting cancelled by central coast tow companies. I called AAA directly and they dispatched West Coast Towing. They were at my location within the hour, picked up my car and they called me when they arrived at my preferred shop.
