Quickly and accurately diagnosed the issue but refused to work on the vehicle due to work performed by other shops. The mechanic was polite about it but worth knowing if you’ve got an older vehicle or something that’s seen multiple mechanics.
They also provided a somewhat dire portrayal of ancillary issues like battery degradation.
