Very happy with Dr Riley's assessment and diagnosis of my skin condition. Took a a sample off my arm for biopsy and will return in few weeks to get results. Her assistants and desk staff all very professional and friendly. Use my husband's email but I was one being seen- Lita

That was my first visit couple of months ago. Just had a second visit and my skin was all clear thanks to the cream medication Dr Riley had prescribed on my initial visit. She is now treating my facial blemishes, again very professional and I am very happy to recommend her to all of my friends.

It was a quick process. I need a stitch that was left on me, taken out. I was in and out in seconds

I received a phone call from the office saying a biopsy required additional removal of the skin lesion. No other instructions or information given. I had trouble reaching a live person by phone to schedule so I used the online appointment scheduling. When I went to the appointment it turned out they couldn't do it then. Another appointment was necessary for that procedure. It was a wasted hour of my work day and a lack of communication by the office. If I needed special help to schedule the procedure the office should have been aware and facilitated the correct scheduling. It is hard to speak to someone by phone and seems that no one is coordinating online scheduling with procedures.

Very unpleasant experience today. I went in with a good attitude. It was my first time seeing Dr. Riley and I was excited to get her expertise on a very personal issue. Unfortunately, the staff was terrible. Front desk never said hello which I thought was just random oh well, After being told to hand over my ID and insurance card, I was called into my appointment. Turns out they had left my ID and Med list on counter for other patients to see…when I got out of the appointment the receptionist wanted to make it known that I had forgotten them on the front counter, not her fault even though she asked for them…Which I know is a HIPPA violation or something? Medical assistant was cold and office felt very unwelcoming. Super fast appointment. Would not recommend anyone visit this office. Will try to change doctors. There’s so many other pleasant offices to go to.

I asked the receptionist how much a skin exam is. She said about 400. My bill came back and it was 908.79 dollars!

I recommend asking a lot of questions If you use this location because there may be hidden fees. In my experience, additional coasts were not brought to my attention. In my case around 500 dollars of unexpected charges.
I'm open to giving another review if this is resolved. So far I have not heard back from the manager for a few weeks.

I had a wonderful experience with West Dermatology Carlsbad and I love that they offer virtual appointments if needed. I am working with Nurse Brittany Polizzi, MSN, AGNP-C and I couldn't recommend her enough. She's a great listener, communicates information very thoroughly while making it easy to understand, and leaves the patient feeling empowered and excited to move forward with her plan of treatment. I also really appreciate that I never feel rushed during my appointments with her - which is very common with medical professionals / other dermatology offices. Thank you West Derm and Brittany!

I had a great visit with West Dermatology staff. Everyone was very professional. And Dr Bonnie was awesome. Her knowledge of the appointment I had with her was amazing. I felt very relaxed and comfortable being there and I have another appointment coming up real soon.

This was my first visit to West Dermatology Carlsbad. All in the office were very friendly and easy-going.
My doctor, Brittany, was very professional and much more thorough with her examination than my previous Dermatologists. Her assistant was extremely personable too and also, very thorough. I didn’t get any sense that they were rushing through my appointment.

Very professional and very quick I was in an out within 20 minutes facility is very clean everybody’s very professional and they answer your questions or you don’t need a medical degree to understand

Dr. Riley and all of the staff are very personable and caring. She is very thorough and discusses all procedures and options available.

Always a pleasant, profession experience. Bonnie is very easy to talk to and almost pain-free Botox injections!

Very RUDE staff, plenty of other places to go other than there I would suggest you do so! Gave them one star only because I couldn't give them zero!
