The staff from the front desk to the PA, and doctor are all professional and kind. The office is clean, and you can tell they are taking covid prevention seriously, and it's appreciated!

Dr. Garza stayed on schedule. Very prompt & professional. She has a lovely demeanor and makes you feel comfortable when speaking with her.

Saw Diane GARZA, PA-C, and Marie the assistant. Diane was the sweetest and thorough. Very easy to talk to. I felt very comfortable and she took her time to answer all my questions. Will definitely tell my friends and family.

Went in for a consultation for laser hair removal. Spoke to a doctor who's name I can't remember for the life of me (she was a small white woman with brown hair) who immediately told me my skin would be difficult and she didn't know if she could laser me without my skin pigmenting. This was a shock to me because I had been told before that I was the perfect candidate for laser hair removal since I am milk white with ink black hair. I asker her to explain and she mentioned sometimes latina women tend to pigment but seemed a bit at a loss and nervous and then went to ask another doctor (a female hispanic looking doctor) to come look at me. She said "I think it'll be fine! " and she seemed much more confident and reassuring but as soon as she left the doctor I had gotten stuck with just seemed unsure, unknowledgeable and it made me even more nervous and anxious than I already was so I left.

I went with another doctor (Dr Jennifer at Desert Med Aesthetics in Palm Desert who I HIGHLY recommend) and when I told her about my experience she was completely confused and did not understand why they would call my skin type 'difficult' and 'problematic'. I've since gotten two laser hair removal sessions with Jennifer and the results are absolutely beautiful with no pigmentation-if anything my skin seems brighter now that the hair is almost gone. I had not intended to write a review about my bad experience here but then I received a $77 bill in the mail from them which is ridiculous considering they made me pay them so they can tell me "I'm not sure we can help you, your skin is difficult" but I'm not a combative person so I'll be paying it. I absolutely do not recommend getting laser hair removal here and I hope the woman who helped me becomes better at her job for everyone's sake.

Matthew Smith, at West Dermatology, is my go-to specialist when I need anything related to my skin. I have had fillers, I have had a carcinoma on my elbow, several different skin conditions and I can always count on him, he does a fabulous job every time. The staff are helpful and polite.

Diana is so sweet and very thorough. Plus I was in and out in 20 minutes. I’m very happy with this practice.

April, the PA, is always very thorough and informative. I will miss her now that she is retired. What I won’t miss is their billing service… or their automated check in that tries to lead you into signing up for services you don’t want or need.

Our PA is Matthew and we think very highly of him. He is caring efficient and an exceptional dermatologist. We have many choices however we select West dermatology.

Matt and April have been great to me and listened to me when I explained the difficulties I was experiencing with my several skin issues. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seen and the clinic is modern, clean and comfortable. Everyone there has always been friendly and professional towards me.

Easy to get appointment, didn't have to wait forever to be seen, and staff was very friendly!

When I walk in for my appointments the staff is very friendly. Matthew is very efficient and knowledgeable and takes time to answer questions. The facility is extremely clean and sanitize. Couldn't be happier being a patient of West coast Dermatology.

Efficient. Wait time was minimal. PA was excellent. She listened and did a full body exam bc I had a history of sun damage.
Her recommendations were appropriate and appreciated!
