Western Dental & Orthodontics, Hawthorne CA

I Will never step foot in this place again, the staff was horrible and the doctor was working on two people at one time. I saw dust in the corners on the floor and trash piled high in the trash can in my room. NOT CLEAN AT ALL. BAD PLACE!

Their lack of protocol and questionable practices during after oral surgery put my sister in the hospital with a staph infection.

Even though they were not able to perform the service needed, the personnel were very professional.

Love the dentist doctor attitude & professional conduct, the staff are very nice, this office do try to get you in & out in a fair & reasonable frame depending on the type of services required, I did have a little problem with the fitting of some dental work that I had done, but was corrected with another offer to correct the problem with no hesitation, this will be my dentist for my dentist services.

I had an amazing experience. I transfer from Carson horrible service. I was discriminated against. The Hawthorne location made me feel wonderful. I had no panic attack

The personnel at the front office have no clue about insurance coverage without checking my insurance they told me that my insurance will cover everything 80% and after the valuation the prices were 77% higher than name dentist and with the customer service of the stuff ha ha ha it should be 80% less expensive than any other dentist. Sorry but the true is that your organizational and customer service has a lot to be desire and please no offense, but use this information as a constructive criticism to get better this shouldn't just be a job for you, but a career and a great customer service to your customers have a continuous improvement future.

Wait time is terrible. You can have an appointment at 5 and expect to be seen at 8 would definitely not recommend coming her

I must say so far so good. Doctors are good asst.are Nice, some service in front could be a little more welcoming. Anna and Doris are really great Caring and passionate workers they take all your money! And leave you Smiling I appreciate your team.

This facility have poor customer service. They don't care about patients. Only care they do is to Make Money for themselves.very inhuman people.

Wait time is horrible I've had to reschedule 3 times because the take too long. Bad service not coming here again!

This will be my second time getting braces on but not with this dentist, but any way my experience here has been so much better than the previous dentist I've been too. I am so thankful and grateful for Letty. She so amazing and understanding I appreciate her time and understanding. Her dental team Ortho Doctor makes you feel right at home. I cant wait for my next appointment

Really like the people who work at this office. Staff is cheerful and make your visit pleasant.

Update (Feb. 8th 2018) : Western Dental got in touch with me a day later and solved it with me, saying I don't owe them this money. I'm actually really happy that someone listens to concerns of their costumers.:)

Please avoid going here at all costs! It's a complete rip-off place.
So, I had a deep cleaning and done back in March 2017. I don't have dental insurance, so I paid the huge amount in full right after at their office. Yesterday (Feb. 6th 2018) I received a letter from them, saying I still owe $165.50. Thinking this is surely a mistake I called them today. They said that I still owe them for the toothbrush and the toothpaste they gave me that time. I DID receive those items, however, they told me this is part of the treatment. I would've NEVER agreed to buy a $165 electrical toothbrush! Furthermore, why didn't they charge me for this the same day they gave it to me and I paid for the treatment!? Now, almost a year later, they want to get paid for it!? OR the two other times I went back to take care of some filling!? Why charge me NOW!? When I told her, it's ridiculous to even charge that much for two simple items, she gave me a discount and I ended up paying $145.
I'm beyond furious! I will never ever go back here and I will tell everyone I know to avoid Western Dental. Their reputation isn't the best to begin with - now I know why!

I have to say my experience at Western Dental & Orthodontics was great! My doctor explained to me in detail what was going on with my teeth. I was shown a video to really understand I thought that was a great idea. Doris guided me through this process by explaining to me in detail on what my payment would be. She put a lot of effort in selecting the right plan for my budget. She made it very for easy for me. Thank you!

I purchased a plan with western dental, they give prices is the plan but when you to their ofgice, you will be charged different price. Can you imagine that 1 wisdom tooth extraction cost me $400 and thr most horrible thing is that while they process the extraction they tell to sign to pay extra for stitches.

Dr. Lai (The Orthodontist) is the best! After getting my braces off, he went above and beyond to ensure I went home with the perfect smile. I will defiantly recommend my friends and family members to this orthodontist!
