Western Inn & Suites, Taft CA

From the outside, this looks like a rundown motel but it was very nice and super clean on inside. Bathroom had many great updates. There wasn't a do not disturb sign so they came in everyday and cleaned up (which I prefer not to have anyone in my room during my stays). That would be my only "complaint" if you can call it that. Close to Honolulu Hills Raceway where I was working an event.

Very quiet and good overall experience. Most of the hotels I've stayed at the ac barley work this hottel had brand new units. All long with a refrigerator microwave coffee pot and even an iron and ironing board. Oh I forgot to and hair dryer. The shower/ bathtub had great water pressure. Overall a great hotel I would stay again.

I came across this place on a travel app, one with lowest cost. The room, albeit simple, was super clean, cozy. The courtyard seems pretty tight, but usually have enough parking spots and feels cozy and safe. The manager took care of my requests. The nonsmoking room of mine was equipped with fridge, microwave, a good coffee machine, new TV, a small A/C, and most importantly, an office-style desk for work. Restaurants, gas stations, Skydive Taft, Starbucks, are all close by, some of which within walking distance. I highly recommend this place given its value.

Clean, quiet and comfortable. The pool is open and very cold. The owner is pleasant and helpful. Good restaurants nearby.

I travel for work. Typically I stay clear of smaller motels. A little dated but very pleasant and clean. I would recommend

First off I reserved a room about a month in advance I even called and made sure the reservation went through. So I travel 4 and half hours to my race in taft thinking I had a roof over me my gf and babys head for the weekend. So I called the morning I was leaving for the race and he said there was no reservation for me so I called around looking for my reservation knowing but second guessing myself that I made the reservation there so we look on my email and it says clear as day my conformation number for this hotel the western inn and suites. So my wife called and he yelled at her and told her no nothings here! So we traveled to taft got there and he didn't even want to see my email or confirmation number. Just said sorry I cant help you theres no reservations here for you. So I was forced to get a hotel that was out of my price range but worth it to have a roof over my head but as soon as I reserved my room the guy called has the nerve to call me back from the western inn suites and says oh I have a room for you now if you still need one after he just argued with me for 20 minutes and yelled at my wife and sent me away from the hotel and tells me not to call so early next time! It's a hotel I can call whenever I want get up and take care of your guests lazy!

Great people that will go out of their way to make sure they have room for you.came back to town and couldnt find a room anywhere their sign said no vacancy but they did what they do and got me a room thanks again

I go there because they always nice and clean the rooms are great I will be there again soon

DO NOT STAY HERE. INFESTED WITH BEDBUGS AND TRYING TO COVER IT UP INSTEAD OF EXTERMINATING. HORRIBLE SERVICE AND GAVE ME BUGS.
