Westfield UTC reviews
29Typical Westfield mall.parking arms at all entrances soon to start charging.just more of a reason to shop online
The food court was horrendous. Things spilled on the already dirty floors. Tables filthy. Trash cans full and overflowing. Employees standing around doing nothing but talking. I would never attempt to eat at this place again if I was starving.
Crowded, expensive & Difficult to find parking since the expansion/remodel.they plan to start charging for parking once the transit station goes in.
I've been coming to UTC for over 15 years now; ever since I was a little boy. It's changed extensively since then, but it's always been for the better. There is a massive variety of food, entertainment, and retail options for people of all backgrounds. It's probably the largest and newest mall in San Diego.
Very nice shopping center with all of the shops you need, plus some very original places in a pleasant setting. One of those rare malls that doesn't make you want to leave as soon as you pick up what you came for.
Other brick and mortar shopping malls are going out of business, but UTC mall is expanding and becoming a destination (especially for young people) when in University City.
UTC has really cleaned up in the past 10 years. It's a really fun spot now. There are a lot of beautiful art along the walkways.
My favorite thing right now is all the seating. I could hang out with a few friends and sit in a comfortable chair. The large wicker outdoor chairs are the coolest. I just lay down in there, relax for a few, and then I'm ready to go shopping again.
Overall it was awesome, but some of the sales people for a particular store were INCREDIBLY pushy. Not the fault of the mall, so overall again, awesome.
Upscale shopping in outdoor setting. Dog friendly and cool food court. Lots of remodeling going on so parking is free
