Westlake Athletic Club reviews
17 Great Picklball club!
Great staff! Great people! Very friendly environment! Club members are awesome!
WAC is a great club for tennis, pickle ball, swimming, and just plain old fun. Facilities are excellent and the staff is even better. If you're looking for a club to be you home-away-from-home you can't do better than WAC.
Love the facilities, easy parking, pool reservation system, clean locker rooms, and jacuzzi and outdoor showers. Great Staff! I have to say it far exceeds my expectation.
If you are in the area I can highly recommend the Westlake Athletic Club. We have been with the club for many years and it just keeps getting better. The tennis pros are exceptional, the opportunity to play a variety of tennis are endless, the staff and clients are super warm and friendly. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. We love this club!
I have been a member of the club for more than 30 years. It has been a great experience.the staff are very kind and friendly. I highly recommend this club.
Thanks to the club and staff for maintaining their services during the Covid lockdown. Members feel safe and comfortable because staff maintains all the required regulations, provides essential hand sanitizers and does as much as possible to maintain social distancing.
WAC has the best people! During these Covid times, they have done so much to keep things clean and sanitized and have moved all workout areas outdoors and undercover.
I go to WAC almost everyday, swimming in the morning, Pilates and tennis in the evening. The club gets me out of my routine at home and offers a change in scenery at the same time getting the benefits of working out. Good for the mind and the body. Love the people there and I've developed close friendships with the members as well as the staff.
I've been a member since about May and access to the pool and masters swim program has been my primary means of coping with the limitations imposed by the pandemic. In addition the staff and management is responsive and accessible.
If your kid is not some wanna-be professional tennis competitor, and just wants to play and have some fun, NO ONE will allow it. The head coaches believe anything from anyone from the age of 6-15.
Poor experience with Tennis Head Coach. Chris was not supportive of my child who was not a top performer, leading him to quit Tennis after 3 years of hard work. I contacted the manager Lori and she facilitated sending a refund. They mentioned that they have new amazing coaches and I hope your kids will have a great experience
It would be in the best interest of the Westlake Athletic Club to fire its tennis director, Chris Dudeck. He is both a bully in person and over the phone. Never signing up anyone in my family here again and DEFINITELY never coming back.
My first time and LAST TIME coming here. The tennis director, Chris Dudeck, was so rude and unprofessional! This place is an abomination and deserves to be shut down.
Worst tennis program ever! The director disrespected both me and my son. Never speaking to him and DEFINITELY never coming back here again.
Love the outdoor gym equipment. Staff is friendly and everyone there enjoys their time. Wish locker room was a little bigger as it can get busy.
Dismissing staff that overlook or even ignore customer requests or reviews. The tennis staff are unhelpful and have consistently offered poor instruction to my son. We tried their summer camp last summer (2018) as well as a few clinics during the year, which my son did not believe helped him improve at all. He actually feels as if he got worse during that time.
We actually returned to try their new summer camp format for a week, only to observe the same results as before, not to mention outrageous prices. I was charged $10 for only being a few minutes late to pick up my son.
I do not believe that UTR should have teamed up or continue to work with the Westlake Athletic Club. My advice to everyone reading this is to select a DIFFERENT club or tennis academy than here.
I am so very happy to finally find a fitness that keeps me interested. I had never played tennis before and thought I would give it a try. The coaches and staff were so very supportive and knowledgeable. I began to have more energy and to my surprise my clothes fit better. I found the courage to try the fitness classes that are part of the membership and now I am an amateur Yogi. Once again I cannot thank this club enough for making me more fit than I was in my twenties. I am also pleased to see my kids happy to play tennis and not be sitting in front of a screen. They were both new to the sport and have made amazing progress with the instructions fro the kind, patient and inspiring pros.
Thank You
Douglas
