I wanted to write an updated review now having my pool a few years. Everyone over at Westmod: Carlin, Reed, Nick and all of the rest of the crews continues to impress me beyond my biggest expectations. Any time something small comes up, even years later, I am so appreciative and grateful for how fast they respond and how much they help in correcting any issues. I never expected that would happen, but it does and it is so appreciated.

Everyone at Westmod rocks. They are so responsive, and most of all my pool and spa and yard is so perfect. Just wanted to send another THANK YOU to you all!

This review is long overdue! Team Westmod did such a sensational job building my dream backyard. Together, we designed and built a pool, spa, outdoor shower, deck, driveway, lighting as well as turf! We completed construction during the pandemic and although it was difficult times, Westmod was able to get the huge job done in under three months. I would like to thank Reina, Carlin, Alyssa, Reid and Nick for making the project as smooth as possible, but I would like to give an EXTRA thanks to HENDRA, my project manager, who went far and beyond to make sure that everything went as smoothly as possible, who was always available for any question I had, and most importantly for being so fantastic whenever any issues arose. Hendra was absolutely amazing!

I could not have imagined this project without Hendra.besides being such a nice man, he was so informative, and supportive and helpful during the stress that is construction. Although there were many issues along the way which is to be expected, Hendra and the team made sure to always correct them. This is even true recently as issues continue to arrive, Hendra and team are still available to quickly diagnose and repair everything along the way! This has meant the world to me. And I want to say a sincere thank you.

The best part about working with this great team is that the finished product came out like perfection, it wasn't cheap, but it came better than my wildest dreams and was worth the money. And I can't thank you all enough for helping me create my dream yard.

The idea of taking out our old pool and putting a new one seemed chaotic and a huge challenge and so we put it off for a long time until one day I found westmod on my Instagram. I made an apt and the following week Ryan from westmod came by and we discussed our vision. He was very professional, creative, honest and super personable. Things happened pretty fast after that apt. We got the design in 3D and virtual. Once we agreed, they handled the engineering and permitting. It was so easy. The entire demo of old pool and construction of our new gorgeous zero edge pool seemed like it was done in a blink of an eye. Our project manager Will was wonderful. He handled the project with care and was on top of it. Whenever there was an obstacle or a challenge, he was able to remedy it professionally and with ease. We always felt heard. Reina was great in helping us choose the stones for the pool that matched our esthetics and used her resources to get them for us including finding the match for the existing hard scape around the pool. All workers on the pool / hard scape from demo to build were extremely skilled, on time and I am not exaggerating great tempered. They all showed up to work with great attitudes, smiles on their faces and they worked hard, they kept the work area clean and they did great work. Thank you westmod for bringing the dream pool we envisioned to life. I would recommend westmod to family friends and anyone that wants a good experience with pool design and construction.

I can honestly say I have never been more impressed and felt HEARD in a company before. I first came across Westmod on Instagram with their stunning designs and features and decided to call to discuss more. The first person who reached out to me for a design was Will who gave me the rundown of what exactly would take place and made me feel no amount of doubts in having our home in his hands. I’ve never had a more easy flowing but down to business type of conversation than those that I had with Will. He made sure all my requests and concerns were included and sought out so that our design would be exactly how we pictured it. Will always made an effort to make sure we felt up to date with what was going on and anytime we needed him- he was THERE ready to help in any way he could. All in all, it shows just how good it gets when an outstanding company has such amazing people running it! Not only that, but family and friends in other states see such awesome work and service we were provided and have them wishing there was a Westmod where they are! No matter what they have going on they make sure you are taken care of with whatever you throw at them.
It doesn’t get better than them and the work will prove it!

If you’re looking for the right landscape design company to partner with, Westmod is it. Not only do they deliver the most stunning designs, but their execution and professionalism from start to finish is flawless. When considering companies, we knew we were out of the build territory (we’re in Northern California) for Westmod but absolutely knew we had to have a design from them given the end result of their previous projects on their instagram and website. They also have other great reviews and testimonies which made us feel comfortable right off the bat! We were sad to know we were out of range to have them execute the design with the build but having them create the concept and architectural plans made us feel much more at ease. If you’ve ever gone through a backyard renovation you’ll know the finer details are super important and boy they didn’t miss any! They cared about us as if we signed a contract to build with them, when they didn’t have to. Having incredibly high standards, I knew a project of this caliber would require someone special to bring our dream to fruition. Joseph and the Westmod team did not disappoint. Every step of the way they made sure that our needs were being met. They even gave us ideas we could never even have thought of. With communication, trust and focus we were able to work together for our unique design we know we wouldn’t of gotten anywhere else. Their professionalism and exceptional attention to detail cannot be matched - no other company can compete with their service and their skill. I cannot even begin to express the level of quality and excellence that you receive when you contract work through Westmod. Right off the bat, Will Burke, makes you feel like you are the only client that they have. The attention to detail, the patience, the follow-through, his pleasant demeanor, his responsiveness - are all the epitome of customer-focused. When I say that you get what you pay for, please believe me. Not once was I made a promise that they did not come through on. Every single date, every single target, every single milestone was hit on time, and if there was a delay - it was because I was still making a decision on finishes. And then comes Reina - who works with you on those finishes and overall design. She is beyond amazing and sweet and patient and kind. The crews - the people on-site, all of them quality tier. When I built our home, I had an image in mind of what my yard would look like - and Westmod brought that to reality. You hear horror stories of contractors who run off with your money, who start and never show up again, quality of their work is sub-par, who take months and months to finish.with Westmod, it was right around three months from excavation to finish. We hired them for our pool, hardscape, front yard, and astroturf. Do not even consider another contractor. Call Will - because he is a little-baby-angel-face-executive-beast at what he does - and then put your trust in him and pull the trigger without worry or concern. Worked directly with Ryan on the design side and Charles as the PM. Both were very professional, respectful, detail oriented and made sure we received not only the best possible backyard but the best experience throughout the process. I would highly recommend West Mod and we will be contacting them again to improve our curb appeal on the front of the house.

I came across their page on instagram and thought, how amazing would it be to be able to have a dream resort style backyard like the ones on their page. I reached out and was assigned to a designer there named Ryan. Not only was a very professional, attentive, and supportive. He drew up the perfect design for our very uniquely shaped backyard. I asked for a resort style, modern yet classic backyard, and that's exactly what he delivered. Him and his team Reina and Carlin worked collectively together to make sure my design was perfect before we signed our contract. I never once felt pressured to sign and even throughout the entire building process, Ryan and Reina answered all my emails, texts, and calls. Never once made me feel like I was bothering them. And believe me, I called them ALOT! Lol. My dream pool and my backyard is complete and just in time for my family to enjoy for the summer. Thanks Ryan, Reina, and the Westmod team and fam. I appreciate you all for turning my plain backyard into a vacation paradise at home type of place! They may not be the cheapest price wise. But the saying “You get what you pay for” has never been so true. Don’t come here if you want a plain boring backyard/pool.

I had a great experience with Will as my designer. He coordinated the entire project from start to finish and addressed all of my concerns along the way. Would definitely recommend for any landscape design/pool construction project big or small!

WestMod recently completed our backyard renovation, which included demolition of an existing pool, a new pool and spa, a sunken seating area with a fire pit, a shower, a BBQ island and lighting. They completed the work in a timely manner and delivered the high-end aesthetic we were looking for. The construction crew worked long / hard hours and demonstrated a sincere passion for their respective crafts. The highlight of the team was our project manager, Hendra. His customer service was top notch, with consistent communication, a calming presence and the ability to skillfully navigate any hiccup that popped up along the way. Thank you WestMod!

Westmod was easy to contract with. The pool was built quickly to specification. I’m happy with the final product.

For our new home in Porter Ranch we had high expectations for the back, side and front yard design and construction. We selected WestMod after speaking with a number of other companies to deliver on these expectations.

The design process started with WestMod paying close attention to our ideas and concepts. Finally, after a few iterations we were pleased with the final design and I conveyed that if the actual work came close to the design we saw in pictures and videos we would be quite happy.

After a few weeks of permitting process we eventually broke ground. Pool, spa and associated plumbing is quite a complex undertaking as we learned by closely watching every step of the work. Blueprints, materials and other design choices, inspections, craftsmanship, procurement and delivery, timeliness and quality control.the process is quite detailed and demanding.

After several months the project started to take shape and like a Polaroid image the back, side and front yards came alive with wonderful water features, pool, spa, fire pit, TV walls, Bar counter, floating benches, planters and landscaping.

With the entire WestMod team from designers, material specialist, project manager, permit expeditors, field supervisors, construction crew we saw utmost client centricity, flexibility, responsiveness, problem solving skills, hard work and highly skilled and experienced construction crew.

It truly was a rewarding partnership with Westmod that certainly met our high our expectations. The finished product exceeded the promise of the design pictures and videos.

In 2 and 1/2 years, I interviewed several companies wanting to do my backyard remodel. No other companies was able to provide the concept, design, service and quality build we were looking for except Westmod. We are more than thrilled with the way our backyard turned out and highly recommend Westmod. From Ryan, to Reina, Will, Fernando the entire team went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Westmod and they have me as a future client for any new property my family and I buy.

It is hard to find companies who build modern pools. Many companies say they do, but then when you see their portfolio it looks like they are making the same pools they made in the 80's and 90's and just add some more recent pavers and astroturf around the perimeter. WestMod actually design and make the amazing, awesome, magical custom modern pool and yard you are looking to create. We wanted to have an ultra modern luxury oasis embedded in our wild, natural wilderness surroundings and WestMod perfectly captured our design aesthetic. We were excited with the 3-D design renderings, but the final product is even better than we had expected. We could not be happier with the end product and are amazed every day we get to have a pool and backyard that are this magical.

After consulting with multiple pool builders we decided to go with Westmod. It was the right choice because these guys have integrity and are experts at what they do.

It was a fairly straightforward backyard pool design but it was a first for us so we had a lot of learning to do. The 3D renderings of the pool and surroundings that Ryan put together really helped us envision the final product and iron out some of the details. Once the work started, our very friendly and knowledgeable project manager Hendra walked us through the multiple steps and inspections and made sure things went as smoothly as possible.

When we did run into some problems with the quality and consistency of the concrete deck (due to excessive heat on the day of the pour) they went way out of their way by agreeing to demo and re-pour the concrete, at no extra expense to us, aside from a delay in the schedule. This kind of commitment to quality work is rare and commendable and makes me highly recommend this company.

From start to finish, Westmod did a wonderful job handling our backyard project. It's incredible how the job turned out in comparison to the design/rendering they drafted up for us. Our project manager, Will was attentive and very accommodating on our requests throughout the job. If you're looking for an efficient, luxury product I would highly recommend them!

Westmod did a fabulous job from start to finish with my backyard design. The design process was easy and thorough and they made sure to capture all of the major elements and minor details and finishing touches so that my dream backyard became a reality. Will was an amazing project manager. Super responsive and didn’t shy away from providing his expert opinion of various design elements which can be intimidating for a client. The crew was always there when they were scheduled to be there; was respectful, maintained a clean working environment and the quality was top notch. Even after my yard was complete; Will and the team is still responsive when I find minor things that require their attention. Me and my family could not be happier with the process and outcome and we’ll use Westmod again when we have other hardscape/landscape needs. Our yard is the envy of the community! I recommend them with zero reservations.

I don’t write reviews often but this one deserved it. The Westmod team (Hendra, Ryan, Reina, Charles) exceeded our expectations – delivered ahead of schedule, were incredibly professional and warm, always showed up with a can-do attitude, and was willing to go the extra mile. These are phrases not often used to describe the pool building experience. We had a group text thread going for continuous 24/7 comms through the project, and they were highly responsive. Samples were delivered to our home, the subcontractors couldn’t have been more professional or kind, and the Westmod team felt a sense of pride and ownership in what they were building for us – at no point did we feel we were just another hole being dug. We assumed this would take 3 months, but were done in a record 6 weeks, and the crews rotated in and out like a fine-tuned machine. At the end of the project, we did a walkthrough and the Westmod team meticulously fixed any and all last details – again, that rare pride of ownership in their work. Truly a unique company and team, and unique quality of service.
