Westside Regional Park and Campground reviews
13It's wonderful to bring our animals along with us when we travel, but owners need to take care of them. No one wants to hear barking, whinging, whimpering dogs all day. The host at the campsite need to learn some manners too. Besides that the vacation was wonderful.
Lovely little campground with boat launch ramp next door. There are bathrooms and a shower at this location too. Loved it!
This is the better launch option at Bodega. People are fairly organized and polite. There’s not much current or wind. Stick to the green channel markers which are perpendicular to the main channel and you won’t get grounded
Walked through. Stayed their years ago. No hookups at all. Going to try again in fall. I love to watch activities in the bay.
RV campground, not much shrubbery separating the spaces, and Bodega Head can be really windy. No hookups. The couple good places to eat or get takeout in town were insanely busy. Still, a beautiful spot in the spring when the hills are green.
First time here, we are usually across the channel at Doran Beach. While Doran has more sand and feels like a beach, the lack of wind at Westside makes it my new favorite for a Bodega getaway.
We had the pleasure of staying here 3 days. It is very clean! This is an RV campground. Sites are what you would expect at rv park. Very quiet, most of the campers are over 40 (my age group) lol and have great camp etiquette we stayed Sun- Wed and the park was full. There is no beach so you don't get a lot of tourists or beach goers. There is a great sea food place 1/2 mile down the road. Had a great quiet stay. Will be back
Great place to spend the weekend. Doran Beach has access to the beach on the ocean side. But Westside is very well kept.
Fun camping spot, clean and controlled during covid. I wish the campground hosts had been a little more accommodating for purchasing wood/their hours.
We liked it here. Plenty of room for big rigs, But no hook up. Beautifully located to Bodega headlands. Friendly hosts.
Secluded from most tourists, quiet, you can camp by the waters edge and watch the fishing boats come and go. Bird watching is fantastic! 2 great seafood restaurants a half mile away, that serve some incredible seafood catering to fisherman, locals and tourists alike. Campgrounds have Showers, and flush toilets, fire pits, and tables. A GREAT hidden gem of Sonoma County.
We stopped to check it out, was a nice place surrounded by cliff coast and Rocky areas good for exploring.
Love this park. A little disappointed they changed the generator hours. Beautiful view of the bay
