WET River Trips, Lotus CA

A group of 4 of us did the full river trip on Saturday the 16th. None of us had ever gone whitewater rafting.

We had the BEST time ever! Andrew was an absolutely amazing guide, down to Earth, knowledgeable, and tailoring our experience to what we would find most fun. The equipment was all in good order, the instruction was appropriate, everything ran on time, and overall we would recommend this trip to ANYONE. If you can get Andrew as your guide, plan on having a great time! We'll be coming back next season for sure.

With couple friends, we joined the trip for Labor Day weekend. It's my first time rafting and it was a fun experience for families and friends, might also be a great team building experience! I think it might be intimidating for people don't know how to swim, but with wetsuit and life jacket on at all times, it's hard to sink. We did the 2-day trip, we were told we could experience 'sleeping under the stars'. That's before it rained at 3 am. LOL.so it is really WET! We have 14 people as a group. There were 2 guides and 1 raft lady (she was in control of all luggage/bags and cooking material/equipment).
We enjoyed the trip. I can see it's not for everyone, we're in our wetsuit most of the time (super hard to get it off when using the bathroom), there was water in the boots, there's no hot food.etc. I love the river/mountain scenery very much. It's very peaceful and there were lots of wildlife. If you're not into the wilderness camping experience, you could do the one day trip. Maybe we will do a different trip next time around.

Amazing once in a life time experience. Did the Middle Fork
American River Rafting 1 day trip on a Sunday as a first timer. I consider myself in pretty good shape and not a great swimmer. I got throw into rapids in the first 10 minutes (the hardest rapid is right at the beginning) and never again after that. Most people made it thru no problem. I never felt unsafe and in danger. Our guide Walker was very good and relayed clear instructions and tips through out the day. He made sure we all had a good and safe trip.highly recommended! First let me say we have been rafting with WET for 9 years now. From beginning to end my family and I had an awesome time! Thanks to some very detailed and specific information from Jonny my family was able to know exactly what to do when they found themselves in the river. And me personally I had two different guides so I could help the other boat with a bit of experience. My first guide Walker was super chill and very solid help. Everyone liked him and he definitely made the level 4 rapids feel like a level 2. My next guide was also super nice and very experienced! Jo was another favorite for me and my group. Thank you guys a lot! Can’t wait to come back!

Amazing experience! MJ was out guide and she guided us for the day long North Fork rapids. She was friendly and guided us deftly around the rocks. Inspite of being a smaller company, their hospitality and expertise is great. We're already planning our next trip with Wet River trips!

First timer, and it was a lot of fun on the South Fork. Though, I wasn't anticipating so much downtime between rapids. Perhaps that's how it is or maybe the river wasn't flowing fast, but I'd go again with these guys in a heartbeat.

Just returned from our 5th trip with WET. I have now done the 2-day middle fork twice and there is no doubt that is the way to do it. You get all of the rapids, but we also got to take our time and do some hikes to see some amazing waterfalls, etc. We went on Thu/Fri, which meant very little river traffic until the one day groups catch up at the very end. And camping along the river is amazing. Other groups come jetting by, and have no idea what they are missing! We had 12 in our group this time - Logan and Anthony as guides, and Johnny on the gear boat. They were 100% top notch, and I would call them again in a second. I'll be back soon.

This was my 3rd trip with WET. I took my scout troop twice on multi-day trips over the past 4 years, and decided to take my son and his friends for his 14th birthday. They loved it, and the guide on their boat, Andrew, was EXCELLENT with five 14 yr olds. The dads were with Jon, who was great also.
I always go back to WET because, as a smaller raft company, they don't rush you down the river. If you want to swim, or jump off rocks, etc, their goal is to accommodate. They are very professional - we appreciated that they took their cue from us, and used good language, etc around our kids. They were respectful of our habit of saying a blessing before our meals (they provide the meals and they are always WAY better than you expect for a river trip).
The only downer was we had to switch from the middle fork to south fork due to the fires. But, they tried to get an exception, and when they were declined, they switched itineraries without a glitch. I can't say enough about these guys. They are three for three, and we can't wait to get that middle fork trip in next year!

First time water rafting with a group of 4 on a class 3 trip upper chili bar with lunch. Great experience. Arrived and 9: 15, met with our guide at 9: 30. Got shuttled to the put in spot. Guide went over instructions. We hit the river for the day and it was awesome. Cassidy was our guide and she was super cool and experienced. 10/10 would do it again.

Awesome! And fun! And I would do it again on a heartbeat! The guide is very thorough and wants to make sure everyone is safe and having fun.

We are visiting from the East Coast and had the trip of a lifetime on the South Fork of the American River with WET Rafting Company!
MJ was our guide - she was so knowledgeable and fun and her great spirit made for a perfect day!

This was my first time white water rafting! We did the half day trip Lower South Fork with Satan's cesspool and Hospital Bar rapids. We went with a large group of 19 ppl and our guides (Will, Hayley, and Matt) were great!

Will was specifically the guide for my boat and he onboarded us beginners really well. By following his instructions, we were able to make it through the rapids safely AND have a lot of fun. He's really knowledgeable about the river and area and made the experience really memorable. THe class 2 and 3 rapids were amazing! And the greenery around the river was really beautiful

WET's starting point is great because they have restrooms and showers and a place to park. They provide life jackets and spaces to put your water bottles/sunscreen in the rafts.they also lock away your car keys and you can leave other stuff in the car. After the rapids, we were bussed back to the starting point where we could shower and change. They also have helmets where you can mount your go pro on. I mounted my go pro with my own mount + water pro case onto the helmet and got great videos!

It was almost 5 hours of rafting (not including time to teach us about paddling and a break for lunch) so really worth the price for us as a group!

This was the best experience with Logan for our guild. Logan made the trip so much fun and he made us feel confident going down huge rapids. The trip was on time and very personable. Lunch was great. We will definitely book for next year.

We were so happy WET had last minute availability to accommodate our family of 3 for a Middle Fork day trip. We had an awesome time and the WET team was fantastic! Our guide Walker was very knowledgeable and made the whole experience fun, safe and adventurous!
