Wheelcare Express Inc reviews
7Do not depend on this company. My mom has been late to multiple appointments. They take the insurance money and give their clients minimum service and leave elderly patients to fend for themselves if a driver calls in or don't show up.
The driver was very safe made sure my was Secured for the ride and she was working on her birthday.
The absolute worst, the dispatcher could not find my name, even though my insurance scheduled the ride to my doctor, they did not show up and I missed my appointment. Some crazy lady showed up and a broken down van. All the seats were removed. She wanted me to sit in the front seat, which was full of newspapers and magazines that fell out when she open the door. She could not find my address because she did not use the GPS, no one ever had a problem before. She also missed my address when she pick me up to home, making a reckless u-turn in an intersection after she passed my house. The second driver also did not arrive on time.instead of calling, he was apparently looking around, trying to on different doors, I don’t know the specifics I was told he was terminated. The third and final time, they also did not arrive. After that, I told the insurance company to never use them for my transportation again. There is nothing that I could say about this company. I am not a mean person, it is not my intention to get people fired, all I wanted was to be driven to my doctor appointments, which is what they are contracted to do. But like I said, every part of this operation was no good— even the dispatch tried to send someone from 50 miles away to get me for a short trip. It doesn’t make any sense.now I just use Lyft and everything is great. I never want to hear about Wheel Care ever again. If I had to guess I just feel they probably don’t have a good staff of drivers, which might make sense because my driver side she was only being paid minimum wage. I don’t know what is true, but it does seem like they were having difficulty finding drivers or enough cars. I am sorry to say other one star reviews, but as I suspected, I couldn’t be the only one disappointed so it makes sense.
Can't speak for their service, but I have witnessed poor driving on two occasions. One was on the freeway. Lane jumping, tailgating, speeding. Typical of most drivers during commute hours, I just expect better from businesses, especially of this type.
Terribly disorganized operation. Drivers thrown last minute ride. Not given routed use own phones while driving. Threw a ride in made me late. Request for a car we'll in advance sent a wheelchair van late crazy driving on Gough using phone on lap.
Since they took over my rides to dialysis they have forgotten to get me twice which is bad because it has only been 2 rides smh
Everything this company does is about the patient. So blessed to have caring people to facilitate things. Mike our Driver, can't say enough. Dana always making sure things set and on track, this is a A+ operation. Thanks Steve.
