At Whissel Realty, they say "Who represents you matters" and this could not be truer about the best agent in the game, Vaughn Douglass. We first came upon Vaughn back in July of 2020 when we were just "looking to get info" about what we needed to do to buy a home. As first-time home buyers, and first ones in our family to ever buy a home, this was a very intimidating experience. Vaughn was so kind and helpful and even though we made it clear that we were not ready to buy at that time, he said that even if it took us 1,3,5 or 10 years, he would be here to answer any questions. Throughout the years he would call in and check up on us and motivate us to keep working towards our goal. When we were finally ready to make that next move, we called him up and he got things moving. His knowledge, expertise, and great negotiation skills set him apart. He was always a call away and if we needed to see a property, he would never hesitate to make the long drive from his home. When we finally found our dream home, the negotiations were a little rocky. At times we were ready to just throw in the towel because this felt like a hill that could not be conquered but every time this happened Vaughn was there to lift us and bring us that piece of mind that everything would be ok. During the escrow process, he was always a step ahead of us. He had all the bases covered and found a way to always get us the inspections and reports that we needed even if it was last minute. I couldn't have had a better, easier, and quicker experience. As a first time home buyer in Running Springs, I was terrified of the process and if it was even possible. My realtor Ankoma worked absolute wonders, and helped me close within a short month. From getting me 10k credit for my buy-down, to reaching out to a bunch of vendors when we only had a 7-day contingency person, it was a literal miracle.
