We had a terrific experience with White Pine. Senior was so helpful, even with our little project. They helped us pick the right wood, the right dimensions, and graciously loaded our car for us (even including the red flag for the back). They’ve been family owned for decades, and they’ve earned another loyal customer!

The customer service was execellant. They knew exactly what I needed and it was cut perfect. I am very satisfied with this company and would recommend to my friends and family. Everyone was very nice and professional.

I was commissioned to build two tables out of red oak for a business owner in Fresno. While the selection of hardwoods is on the small side, the quality of the wood is high. Plus, there is an ample selection of thicknesses, which is a key when building table legs. It's a little difficult to get help when I'm trying to wrap up my order.

I have been coming here for four years. I remodeled a 70 year old house and when they couldn't provide the materials I needed they were very helpful with referrals to other shops. The guys here have never treated me like I couldn't possibly know what I am talking about since I am close to 70 and a woman. I REALLY appreciate that! I will definitely use White Pine Lumber as my first stop whenever I find myself in another project.

Good old fashioned service. They have in stock what the big box stores don’t. They can cut odd sizes too.

I love this place. I gave a 4 star only because their hours or operation are not easy to work with. Other than that, I would shop there a lot more and refer more people.

Called the store for spanish cedar, they said yes they did and when I drove down here they tell me they haven’t had it in years.

They always have the kind of material that you need that you can't find at Home Depot or Lowe's

Screening in my porch; as most all of the wood frame will be visible, I needed really nice 2x4's. Spoke to Josh at White Pine, he listened to my concerns, and recommended their Doug Fir kiln dryed; Josh stated that their supply was of really good quality, and it was.even let me select the ones I needed. I couldn't be more pleased - I will be back again when I need lumber!

This will be my first review, but i feel that it's important for me to share my experience with others.
My businesses have been purchasing building materials from White Pine Lumber since our inception in 1978. I called looking for technical documentation for some of their 2x lumber so I could provide the architect with submitals for our upcoming commercial school project since I intended on purchasing all materials from White Pine. When I called to request this information I was greeted by an employee that didn't seam to know what I was asking for (technical data sheets). After I attempted to explain to him what a technical data sheet is, he stated "I will ask you one more time what you're looking for before I hang up on you". I was extremely confused at why this employee was acting the way he was. My response was that "I'm looking for technical data/documentation on 2x4,2x6, and 2x8, Doug Fir lumber" and he immediately hung up on me. As I stated before, my commercial contracting businesses have been purchasing materials from this business since our inception and I am absolutely blown away at how I was treated by this employee for simply asking for material information on products sold by this business. I was not rude, angry, impatient, etc.and I was extremely confused at this employees behavior. Needless to say, This place will not be getting another penny from me and I would encourage the owner of this business to employ some better suited people to deal with his customers.

The best place to purchase lumber and supllies. Great quality, service and price. Their grade of lumber exceeds their competition and usually at a lower price.
