We booked a family raft trip with WWE for my Sister's birthday. The trip included lunch. They are really professional and gave perfectly clear directions to the launch site. My family took up 2 boats and our guide is Alex and she is awesome. She is super fun and rescued me when I fell out of the raft. She is so petite so I thought she will never be able to pull me back in, but man she grabbed hold of me and pulled me right in. WOW!
Lunch was delicious and love fresh fruit after a morning in the sun. The entire trip was soooo fun and we had a blast. Highly recommend WWE. You won't regret it.

They provide meals and campsites right by the river. Great service and guides. We used them several times for our scouts troop whitewater trips l.

Had a great time rafting both the Middle and South Forks of the American River with Whitewater Excitement. They are a great outfitter who take safety seriously and have a fun time on the river. Highly recommend!

We had a great time. I brought the whole family and we are already planning our next trip. The staff is excellent, friendly and professional. Perfect for birthdays, bachelor parties or for a quick getaway. The campsite was picturesque. The food was perfect. Compliments to the chef and our guides.

Rafted american river south fork. Guide was Arron. Had a great time. Arron wa superb in managiog the ride and cpched us very well. Would go again next time.

Definitely adventurous and the rapids were rapiding lol it’s also out of this world beauty and views that can only be appreciated from the water. Charlie & Drew were amazing and I had a lot of fun despite being very apprehensive. Drew was very clear with his instructions making sure we were safe at all times. We absolutely had a blast! By far the best family vacation we have taken. Our guide, Phillip, was the best person we could have asked for. He ABSOLUTELY made our time on the water even more enjoyable. We will definitely be back and will be looking to book the 2 day trip on the water

Best rafting company on the river, hands down. Amazing accommodations for campers and RV's, the kitchen staff makes great food, and the guides are cheerful and love to talk. If you want to go rafting on any fork of the American River, Whitewater Excitement is the only option.

This is our second trip with Whitewater Excitement. We did the young rafters 3 years ago and had an amazing experience so we decided to do a 2 day rafting trip since the kids are older now. We had a group of 11 and we camped Friday through Sunday. Katie, our tour guide was adorable and knowledgeable and just really friendly! The food provided is really good and plentiful! We will definitely be back in a few years when the kids hit the next age requirement of 12!

We did the all day 21 miles SouthFork. It was amazing! First time. Tanner is the guide! We are going to go again and do level 4! Whitewater Excitement is the best!

Go for the middle fork. It is so much fun! About 20 minutes into the trip. After lunch you hit the tunnel shoot which is a 4 plus rapid. It is pretty awesome how you go right through the mountain.

Oh Wow! This was the most fun I've had in my entire life! We were a group of four 60ish somethings and chose the 'adventurous first-timer' as our descriptor. We did a two day trip with the Lower South Fork on the first day and the Middle Fork on the second. We tented in their beautiful campground right on the river and they really took care of us. Good showers and bathrooms and Excellent Food. Compliments to the chefs. Our guides, Nate, Philip and Bryce were so much fun and made you feel like friends. They also knew their stuff and knew their river. We were in great hands. Thrilling rapids, peaceful ponds, magnificent canyon, and some pretty cute otters. We are already planning next year's trip! If you are wavering because of cost, know that this experience is worth every penny and more. And if you are wavering because of fear.just take the plunge and do it!
