This Place is the Worst! Lazy Rude CNA’s the facility smells disgusting! I had a elderly 91yo roommate who was repeatedly ignored and put off when asked to have his diaper changed. On more then one occasion he was forced to sit in a soiled diaper for more then Four hours!

During my mom's stayed all the staff was very professional and attentive. They not just provided care. But went beyond to assure she was provided for every need. We want to thank all the team members who assisted my mom with such dedication for human care.

Staff was wonderful. But my husband got covid in there and he was only there 7 days. Went there for rehab only do to a broken shoulder. My husband left facility in Friday and went to er on Monday. He had covid and pneumonia. Spent 14 days in the hospital due to COVID. Again great staff but facility and cleansing are a issue.

This place is horrific, it barely meets the states guide lines for staffing, and those guide lines are bad as it is. In 2 weeks of recovery there my mom got a very deep and nasty bed sore, bed sores happen because of poor patient care. It took them 6 hrs to replace a wet diaper after the she called for them 3 sepperate times and having them come in and tell her it would be in a minute 3 sepperate times. They didn't bother to tell us how bad the bed sore was when she was released. Now after talking to the home care nurse and the horror story's of the patients she sees that come out of there I just want to cuss out the insurance company that sent her there. If you have the choice call you're insurance company and change the facility if you are sent there for recovery.

If you want your loved one really taken care of, then this is so NOT THE RIGHT PLACE! If you just want someone to provide the bare minimum to keep them alive and miserable, Then this is the right place. It's basically a cattle lot getting our loved ones ready to be slaughtered!

It should a 0.they don't read patience charts.we caught them numerous time not following Dr orders.if u have to wear a diaper they took almost an hour to clean her up.we all witness this.

Spending 2days here at Whittier Hills Healthcare Center, I had given this facility a 5 star at first.but 30 days later I've changed it to 4 stars.first filed grivence on housekeeping of there ways of cutting corners when it came to cleaning, the one in charge was very disrespectful and even lied about what went on until social services put him in check, some of the nurses slept on the job that worked night shifts, they know who they are, some of the few that actually did their jobs professional resigned due to unsatisfied pay.many nurses Called in sick and have a terrible turnover ratio due to managment.unfortunately not all the nurses are bad. Jazmin, Laury, Cornelius, Shirley are some of the outstanding nurses there, one that I gave high honors is no longer there due to unfair wages.physical therapy was not what i expected, call ins where also affecting my rehabilitation and had cancelled my turns of physical therapy.overall I had excercised my rights so my need were met unfortunately not all the patients know their rights and are not provided with proper nursing services. I hope management does some changes in the future to make this facility a better place for the elders.

This is the 3rd nursing facility my mother has visited in the past 6 months and is by far the finest. The staff was very attentive to any concerns I had. Really appears everyone is working as a team. Very professional. Thank you all for a job well done!

Excellent facility. Good customer service. Excellent staff members. Takes good care of my wife that has a left cab. All the staff have been really helpful to me and my wife. Excellent therapy service especially Mark the director and therapists - Jade, Calvin from rehab, they are very skillful, knowledgeable, patient, Chinese speaking, as well, because of their commitments working with my wife because of that, she is getting healing and improvement, thank you therapy team! We stayed here in Whittier because of you guys!

I arrived here at Whittier Hills Health Care Center on February 19th last month. I was homeless with Cancer staying in a temporary homeless shelter in Whittier, which was very nice, although I need to be in a Facility like this because I have Cancer and a very bad back and neck injury. And I need 24 hr Nursing Care which I am receiving here. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. At least that's how I feel, and I grew up here in Whittier my whole life, being considered kind of a little rich boy. And I will say this much. This place is great! I have nothing bad or negative to say about this place. If other people do, then they aren't appreciative of a nice and safe environment where you are being taken care of 24-hrs a day. We have physical therapy, medical treatment, good food, and courteous, loving and caring staff that will go the extra mile to accommodate your needs to make you as comfortable as possible. I'm glad I'm here awaiting my Chemotherapy, many Dr's appointments, my 10 hr operation, and the physical therapy I'm going to need after this is all over. So thank you Whittier Hills Health Care Center and thank you to whoever got me into this awesome place. Keep up the good work! Shon Michael Kobzeff! Today is Saturday, April 3rd. I've been here over a month now. I still really like it here. I'm still having tests done. I've had a Pet Scan done since I've been here, and a day or so ago, I had some imaging done. Definition, I've been inside more machines, lol! The Dr's want to make sure I don't have anymore Cancer/has mine spread? Keep me in Prayer as well as everyone else here, staff included. Prayers work, and it can't hurt, lol! I wanted to add to this and say "Hello, " and thank you very much for calling me and letting me know about the things I am eligible for through my insurance company. Anika, you are a great Insurance representative, thank you for the info, and thank you for listening to me tell you about my views on life, and about a couple of my wacky adventure stories, when we spoke when I was at Whittier Hospital last week or so. You are the greatest, and Allied should know that you did your job wonderfully when we spoke. Kudos to you! Whittier Hills Healthcare Center is a great facility with great people! I had the pleasure of interning at this facility under the supervision of the administrative team and they are great people driven to provide the best care to their residents. I strongly recommend this healthcare facility to anyone who has a loved one in need of healthcare services, Whittier Hills is the place to be.

This facility is a nice little hidden gem. I was able to meet with the staff outside of the facility and I could not have been more impressed with the way the staff treated me as a person.i can only imagine how they will treat my mother. Definately a go to place if you have the need to place your loved one in a skilled nursing center.

I've been to this facility and I can tell you that this place is very clean and have great staff working there and caring for their residents.

Many people I know of have received very good care from the nursing and therapy staff. With all the things going on in the world, I know they are doing the best they can to provide care during this very tough time.

Often times they work with very complex medical conditions and while nobody can stop the plan of God, they do their best to make the process smoother. I appreciate their effort.

I have my mother in law at Whittier Hills for therapy after a fall at home. She got motivated to do exercises everyday and encourage her to eat and sleep well. We want to thank therapists, social workers and nurses for their dedication during this difficult time. I’ll recommend this rehab center for my family and friends.
