Whittier Travel Inn

I booked this place when i was searching for place in Whittier Alaska, i booked the places and immediately recognized it is not in Alaska and within half an hour I cancel my order.they charge me for full amount although I write an email, call them and contact Booking, com but no result. I have not seen any unethical business like this ever

Place can use a bit more time on cleaning rooms, and found a bed bug the last time I was there, they said do you want a full refund or change rooms a no brainer change rooms please. But following room was left with trash almost everywhere. I like the owners but they can be a bit on the penny pinching side

Rooms have stained sheets. There was a couple blood stains which could be signs of bed bugs. I tried two different rooms and both were bad. It’s supposed to be a non-smoker room, but it had cigarette burns in the sheet. No refund, but I got my cash deposit back.

Rooms used to rent for $60.00 now they go for $130.00. Nothing has changed or been updated in decades but the rooms are clean, just bring air freshener to get rid of the old motel smell.

OVER ALL GREAT HOTEL FOR THE PRICE & LOCATION FRIDGE WORKED SO DID THE MICROWAVE THE TOWELS WERE SOFT SMELLED CLEAN THE KEPT MY $50 CASH DEPOSIT BUT I CONSIDERED IT THE TIP

I absolutely love this place! Fast check in friendly owners and nice housekeeping lady. She's always so happy to be there. Clean rooms, comfy beds, and no weirdos hanging around the motel.

Room is ok.but front desk not too friendly his wife is grumpy told us don't park which we just arrived she being rude! Not much amenities.no ice vendor no elevator! But room is clean which why I give 2 star!
