A solid whole foods location. Staff is friendly and know where things are if you ask. Besides the cost a good place to shop. Cost being the only downside but quality comes at a price and people shopping here already know what to expect as far as cost goes so still five stars.

Seafood service attitude is worst.they will ask you your order let you repeat twice or more, and wrap one of them, then let you repeat your order like he never had a chance to hear it.

Usually everybody that works there is more than eager to help with smiles, but perhaps do to our recent circumstance, everyone seemed a bit uptight, short tempered, and ready to go home! Not what I expected!

I never liked the service. Almost every time I see arrogant and cold cashiers or other staffs. I shop at Whole Foods only because I am able to bring my own jars for bulk groceries to support my sustainable living. Last experience was a senior male cold cashier on a bad mood. I said hello, no response. He charged the whole jars of bulk groceries without taking the part of my own jars off. I said thank you, again, no response but talking annoyingly to another guy. I realized the over charges just when I got home. So I had to drive back to there again.

Recently bought calamari tubes that smelled like ammonia after I cooked them. I washed them properly, etc. Obviously, I didn't eat those, so I didn't get sick. Another day, the calamari steaks smelled like chlorine even after a very thorough washing. Based on my experiences, I will not be buying seafood here. I'm giving 2 stars because they still sell other things, like cheese and a variety of gluten free items.

Been shopping here for years, since it opened. Since Amazon took over the customer service has gone down hill, they have discontinued products I use, and they are always out of stock on items.

I always have very bad luck because I arrive when there is no pepperoni pizza. It puts me in a very bad mood because this does not take more than two months so he asked me what is going on? I hope they correct that because I don't have much time for lunch and it's easy to get there just for your pizza. It is really annoying.

I really like this temptation.in my family we love whole foods and here there are many options, variety of fruits and vegetables or any product.although some are expensive they are very worthwhile. Parking was a problem but I think this is a problem anywhere. In general this store is fine.

Love this place. Got a salad here with avocado lime which was really good as I tried for the first time.

Not impressed with the food quality. If I wasn’t so hungry, I probably would not have finished this “Chicken Teriyaki Rice Bowl”. Customer service was great, all the people were really nice and helpful (that’s the reason for the 4 stars). But the food? Lackluster, at least with what I got. Should’ve went for the $10/lb salmon. It was $10.49 for a bowl that doesn’t even compare to a bowl at Panda Express. Bottled “BU” Kombucha was good though, I got the green tea one.

Also almost broke my teeth on the uncooked rice at the bottom of my bowl.

Decided to try out another rotisserie chicken spot. The chicken was very good - tasty, meaty, and a good size. Prices were reasonable as well, and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, both sides were cold - if they can fix that issue, this place will definitely deserve 5 stars.

Easily the worst grocery store in San Mateo. Parking lot is a nightmare, tens of people behind the counter, one taking orders, cell dead zone so the app for prime never works. This place is garbage.

One of the bigger Whole Foods markets in the area. This place is really crowded even when nights. There's a parking lot that really crowded all the time but there's an underground garage.

Whole Foods can only be taken seriously by people who 1) have a lot of money or 2) people who do well and don't like to cook.
Anyone who likes to cook AND has to shop on a budget can't really shop for groceries here. I'm just socialist enough to find the prices offensive.
I use Whole Foods to buy meat or fish for a very special occasion, although I find Lunardis to be on par.
Anyone who shops here for everything from paper towels to eggs to staples has far to much money and might want to consider hiring someone to shop for them and donate the savings to the non-profit of their choice.

Upscale market located in a somewhat congested area. The store has an underground parking lot and an elevator up to the store. Amazons discount helps offset the prices and they have Amazon lockers to pick up your orders.

Came to the store on Christmas Eve and it was fully stalked including hot food bars, lots of opened checkout lines. Great customer service!

Love that I can get larger discounts on sale items just by having my Whole Foods Amazon app! Good produce and cheese selection. Gluten free options too.

I love whole foods but the tres leches cake I bought was nothing like a tres leches cake! No milk at all! Please research your recipes before making good looking but dissapointing cakes.

My fav grocery store in the area. However SUPER OVERCROWDED parking! Never look for parking in front of the store, go to the underground garage right away;) Great selection, good customer service, wish they had a juice corner or so

One of the best Whole Foods store in peninsula. Very neat and well organized. However parking is an issue here. Not enough parking for customer and you have to move around a lot in busy store hours.
