Whole Foods Market reviews
18Most of the food is good tasting and so is the quality. However the hot bar and many other items were super expensive. For the price I paid for my meal, I could have had a much better meal at a restaurant. The way they priced that hot bar was the same pricing as expensive restaurants. However most of it tasted good except for these very hard potato wedges. The drinks were also super expensive all averaging about 4 dollars. While the quality was good, the pricing is unfair
This store has THE best prices on veggies and wine. I thought that they were a really expensive place but come to find their quality and friendly staff can't be compared.
The Amazon returns situation is clutch. I like it a whole lot. No need to box it up just scan the QR code on your phone.
Fantastic cake by the slice or whole.
Even the Swiss cheese is whole.
They have a whole lot of food.
This place has great deals. Don't expect detailed service, but that is not the point anyway. Good prices on decent grocery items.
Right after work hours this place gets cleaned out and almost trashed. If you're looking for something specific in stock, I suggest going in any other time rather than M-F 4-7PM.
This place is a disaster. The staff is semi helpful. However they are non-existent, so good luck trying to find that one item. Most of the shelves are stocked except the few that are completely empty. Other stores manage to keep their inventory, however whole foods cannot get there stuff together. Common items are often missing, and overall the whole foods experience has been lacking for the past 2 years. Blame it on covid, or blame it on poor management.
The lunch from hot bar was tasteless and hard to swallow.
Reheated frozen vegetable and potato.
The salad dressing was tasteless and dry?
In the salad was something what belongs to garbage.
This place has gone way down hill since Jeff Bezos bought the company. The take away food used to be good, now it’s crusty, wilted, and disgusting. I can physically see the penny-pinching Amazon is forcing on this location. The people who shop here have become shady too. I try to avoid Whole Foods as much as I can now.
I used to love this store. It was an opulent temple to produce.
Now it sells squishy cucumbers and yellow broccoli. I bought a container of tomatoes and discovered that half of them were rotten.
The selection of everything is poor, and there are very few local products now.
The staff is unfriendly, and turnover seems to be high.
Place is going downhill. Coffee bar was closed for months because they couldn’t hire anyone. Smoothie menu changes day to day depending on what fruits they remembered to freeze overnight. No one can make the same item twice consistently. Blue Bottle products gone. Disappointed because I really enjoyed coming here.
We bought rotten salmon there. Also, they have items limit for self-checkout but they won’t tell it to you before your turn. Very rude staff and empty shelves. The worst Whole Foods I’ve ever been to
The staff have a “could care less” attitude and the quality of the produce is rock-bottom, yet the prices are highest ever and the lines are longest of any grocery store. No excuses, no apologies, no trying to do better. Please get a grip on you customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction.
The groceries are usually overpriced. But I appreciate that they have an Amazon desk where you can return things. It's easy, and as long as you have everything packed correctly, it's quick too.
Very good location. Awesome selections of meat, fruits, vegetables and organic produce. Walking distance to downtown Redwood City, this whole foods market makes it one of the most convenient grocery stores and markets in the downtown area. Highly recommend this store to visitors and the Redwood City San Carlos residents.
I was waiting for 7 minutes to get lasagna, called this person 2 times. He replied 1 second and continued doing something else. There were no other people in line or around. I just left, because I couldn't make an order. It's crazy.
I usually go to the store every Sunday and most of the time specially today the cashier very unprofessional, I was very disappointed, she doesn't know how to package the groceries in bag.
This is the holy grail for groceries.bakery, wine&spirits, deli&prepared ready to eat foods. Meat selection not that great.customer service A+, no questions return policy. AMAZON return service: just put your item to return in a paperbag, hand to staff.that's it! Amazon immediately posts your return$! Excellent organic selection & different culture cuisine items.
What can I say. Whole foods is whole foods no matter where you go. Good selection of organic foods and interesting products for body and soul. And if you're an Amazon prime member, you get a discount at checkout. If I'm nearby I always choose whole foods over other large chain grocery stores
