Crêperie Wholly Crepe reviews
18This place is amazing. We came in during a rush and lt was pretty chaotic, but the owner handled it like a champ and still put out phenomenal dishes. I will absolutely be returning here and I recommend it to any one that loves breakfast foods.
Simple Crepe restaurant very near Old Poway Park. Super friendly staff make good crepes and kids love the dessert crepes. Reasonable prices as breakfast crepes run around $11 and coffee and lattes run around $4.
I Googled this place and thought it was legit bcus of the 4.4 stars but when I got there it smelled like old mop water so it stunk but I still gave this place a shot and the crape that I ordered did not taste fresh at all so I didn't enjoy the crape and i didn't even finish it because it wasn't any good wil not come back
Awesome place for breakfast. Plenty of choices and food tasted great. We will definitely be coming back to try the other choices on the menu
Small breakfast joint in the Old Poway Park area on Midland Road. Has seating indoor and one table outdoor.
This place offers savory and sweet crepes, sandwiches, dessert and leige waffles. You can have it for breakfast, lunch or dinner!
I got the kitchen sink ($11.69) under breakfast crepes. Has eggs, mushrooms, sausage, onions and crispy hashbrowns with chipotle sauce.
Strawberry banana Nutella leige waffle ($10.69). Leige waffles are different than Belgium waffles because it’s smaller with rounded edges vice rectangular and you could taste the caramelize sugar dough. It came with two waffles. On line menu said three.
Also got the turkey pesto crepe ($11.69). Very good with pieces of chicken strips, crispy bacon and avocado.
I got hazelnut latte and it wasn’t the best but it was a big cup. Overall, I really liked the leige waffle. I’ll have to come back Saturday when I’m at the farmers market.
Went to Wholly Crepe for the first time this morning and got a Koffi's breakfast crepe. It was incredibly delicious. The next time you want a breakfast burrito, come here instead
I really enjoyed the savory kitchen sink crepe. The hashbrowns we're perfectly crispy, the crepe was soft and airy, and the chipotle sauce tied everything together nicely.
I've only picked up food to go here but it's been wonderful I'm exactly what it says it is each time I'm fairly new to crepes but we order quite a bit of food and everything is exactly the way we ordered it and then everything tastes really really fresh. Can't ask for much more than that
Cute little shop with a decent sized menu. From crepes to waffles to my favorite.the philly sandwiches. It's all tasty and not too pricey. The atmosphere indoors is a little small but feels homey and cozy. Outdoor seating available too. Good for breakfast and lunch
The mixed fruit crepe was amazing - not too sweet just perfect amount of sweetness. I took -2 stars because their menu says gluten free option available AND THEY DID NOT HAVE IT they didn't have gluten free powder and they did not have any other options that were gluten free. I highly recommend people to call in to check if they will have gluten free option available.
Liked my crepe and the service was good, but I’m not a fan of the Christian music that was playing.
Crepe was tasty and employee was friendly. However inside was super hot (even though it wasn't that hot outside) and not very clean. The owner should invest in some climate control.
We ordered Banana Caramel Crepe and Chicken Pesto Crepe. They were great! Nice vibe. Nice food. Place is clean. The crepe is just right. Not too thick. Chewy. The portion is just right too. We were both quite full after the meal.
Service is nice as well. Water served if requested.
Recommend to check it out
Yum! We had the monkey turtle crepe and the fruit waffle. Both were loaded with deliciousness. The owner was also super cool and remembered us from when we had come in prior. Great place!
This is one of our Saturday regular breakfast places. Chicken Pesto is absolutely delicious, anytime I get anything else I regret it just a little bit but everything is delicious.
The food is so good but don't get a pannini if you're in a hurry. It took my entire lunch half hour to get mine.
First time trying Wholly Crepe out. I ordered the bacon & egg crepe, and it also comes with onion, mushroom, chipotle sauce and cheese.
The crepe itself was really soft and delicious, while it had an amazing mix of savory from the other ingredients.
Food came out fast and was perfect. Also ordered an iced vanilla latte. The coffee wasn’t too sweet or watered down (like other places) and had a good balance of sugar plus the bitterness from the espresso.
This place was great, food was good and staff was friendly. You need to try it out!
The only reason they have more than one star is because their waffles are pretty good. Never open on time, or even at all. The store is greasy and sticky, every square inch. I think I’m done trying.
