It's a nice campground. It does get a bit warm in the summer but has two pools. There is plenty of camp sites.

This campground is well taken care of for how many campers stay here, as for the best thing about it here is.near the entrance is a decent sized pool and a small snack shop that has some of the best vanilla ice cream ever.

Sparkling entrance and nice staff. Pools are clean and busy. Lots of bike riders and dog walkers. Large clean sites. There are limited 50 amp sites but I always find one midweek. My 7th time back, more to come.

The water only gets hot in the first shower up front, but not the other new one. I love this place. The staff has been very helpful and courteous. My only complaint is the hot water in the shower therefore its a great place to stay.

Been here 1 night. Beautiful, but when I did laundry this morning, the laundry room was filthy! I actually got my own broom and swept.

Employees are friendly and courteous. Campground is alright by TT standards. My only concern is be careful with the power on your sight. Check it when you check in and check it periodically during your stay. Doing so may save you some repairs. Don't think that because you have a surge protector, you are safe, that would not be true. Other than that we have always enjoyed this campground.

Love the RV park as it is beautiful and so much to do there. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. The geese are hanging out so the only drawback is there can be a lot of goose droppings. The location is great as it is away from the hectic life but still really close to stores.

Warning! No assigned spaces. Get parked before dark. Not all spaces are full hookups. Some no water! Some no sewer. Some no electric. Rustic!

Made reservations through our Thousand Trails Membership. We were told by staff that they don’t allow reserving a specific site, but they guaranteed a site would be available when we arrived. We arrived, and were told to drive in and “choose” a spot. What a joke! No full hook up spots were available. They were all occupied by “Long Term” Members. Judging by the filthy condition of these spots, and the run down condition of numerous makeshift sheds and blue tarp structures, and the knee high height of the weeds, we felt we were in a run down mobile home park. Staff could have been honest when we called to make reservations, but they chose to lie about promising a guaranteed spot. There were no spots available. They admitted there have not been any spots available. They informed us they did not anticipate any full hookup spots to be available until some of the “Long Term Members” decided to leave. This entire facility is unkempt and in poor repair. From structures to landscape to utilities it is completely sub standard. We called Thousand Trails to notify them and that was just as useless as the attempt to camp at Wilderness Lakes. (Better name would be Wilderness Flies, a subsidiary of Thousand Thieves). My advice, stay away and don’t waste your money on a Thousand Trails Membership. They have zero concern for anything you have to say and they rate an F in customer service.

Wilderness lakes may seem nice until you get up close. It's very dirty! The bathrooms, YUCK! The staff are not nice they talk about you to other members and other staff. They are lazy and they lie and the people who go there just like to complain about other people. Never been any place in my adult life that had so many haters in one place. If I had one word to sum up this place it would be TOXIC!

It seems to me that they have let Wilderness Lake really run down to the point of no return. Home are going up all around. I can see the house's will take over this park soon.

Getaway! This is close to home, but away from it all. Swimming and sports and music and just being lazy.

Nice big sites. We loved the salt water pool! We enjoyed our stay and will visit here again.
Staff was very friendly, professional and helpful.
We didn't like the goose feces on the roads were you walk and sit on your site. Also the water canals need to be better tended to.

I was very disappointed last week,
1, we saw no security. 2, now you pay
12.00 DOLLARS a day to fish, I would also like to add that they didn't even
stock the cannels.

Nice rv park to visit. Close to a lot of stores, casinos and children entertainment. Summer time is a little busy. The park NEED to have all 50 AMP service.
