Two of us stayed in a Riverside tent on a Thursday and Friday during January. The tent was quite comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable and I especially loved the bed warmer which each side can control to their liking. I was afraid of being cold but that proved not to be justified as there was also a good portable radiator in the tent.

There were very few other guests, so noise was not a problem from that standpoint, and the location is quite nice on the river with the big trees - the road noise fades after a while. The first night I did hear quite a bit of traffic in the morning so I would definitely recommend keeping your earplugs on securely, which I did the second day and had no issues. It was a fun alternative to a hotel in Healdsburg for the same price, which was our original plan, and making a bonfire at night gives it a bit of a camp feel while still sleeping in a real bed - however this is not a remote spot if you are looking for total peace and quiet - it is right on a somewhat busy two-line road.

In the morning the complimentary coffee was quite nice and the array of goodies to purchase in the little store is a much better selection than what you will find in town in Geyserville, where we stopped at both bodegas. Very friendly staff, clean bathrooms and showers, would consider staying again.

Great place to enjoy. There is some road noise but it’s not that harsh. We were there in winters so it was amazing. They have space heaters as well.

We had a truly wonderful stay! We were there in November, and the tents were warm and cozy and honestly more comfortable than most hotels. All of the facilities were clean and high end, and it was an ideal location to use as our home base to explore the surrounding area. All in all, highly recommend, we'll definitely be back!

Our two days stay was very pleasant, as it was also our first time trying glamping. It was very cold at night but the heated mattress makes things better quickly! The place is so beautiful and serene, although it can get pretty quiet when there’s not much people left (we prefer a busier day, so probably will pick a better higher peak days next time). You can hear the cars from the main road nearby but its not a problem to us at all since we already knew about it before. We also grilled using the communal kitchen and it was so convenient! The place is well taken care off with love and hospitality, the skies are so full of stars. It was a beautiful retreat although it was cooler days so we didn’t get to swim in the river but we did visit them. It was sucha beautiful intimate retreat we were looking for and it felt very personal. I love the accessibility of places and the camp store despite it being a relaxing treat. I would 100% recommend anybody to give wildhaven glamping a try!

Finally had the opportunity to visit Wildhaven Sonoma for a quick glamping experience. The location is conveniently close to the freeway, providing easy access to various amenities such as food and wine. Alternatively, one can choose to stay for a unique glamping adventure. The Sonoma area offers an incredible time with its wineries, and a highly recommended spot for a wine tour is the Jordan Vineyard, which is in close proximity to the glamping site. Healdsburg is also nearby, offering excellent restaurants and more wine experiences. As for the site itself, it is relatively compact, featuring some tents with a riverside view. There are a few steps to access the riverside, and a small hike to the water adds to the amazing experience. Definitely, a place to have fun and not to be missed!

A Little Slice of Heaven in Alexander Valley!

Glamping has been on our Wishlist for a few years. My husband and I had to be in California for family reasons, so we took advantage of this opportunity since we live in Boston. We booked a night at the last minute, just so we had a destination and it was a bed to drive to. Since this was our first time Glamping, we were not quite prepared for it to rain. We were so grateful that we chose one of the 2 brand new cabins - because we had heat! So we relaxed on the comfy teak chairs on the front porch for awhile. Then we snuggled up, turned on the heated mattress pad and enjoyed the luxurious bedding in our spotless cabin in the woods.

Funny thing, I told my husband the day before that we did not have our own bathroom - you should have seen the look on his face. Happy to report that the bathrooms are very clean, and we both loved their shampoo so much we would love to buy some! Granted it is dark at night so bring a flashlight. It was refreshing to brush our teeth at the outdoor sinks.

TIP: We should have gone into their adorable store BEFORE we drove to Healdsburg to bring back dinner. Their store is stocked with the essentials for Glamping - frozen upscale burritos (micro in store), gourmet ice cream & s'mores kits! Of course they have ice, wine and souvenirs & munchies too.

The rain did not stop us from walking to the river, steps away. It must be awesome during the summer for swimming and tubing. Outdoor showers near the river entrance on the grass are a nice touch as well. Tons of fun for family and friends with cornhole and other games. Unfortunately we did not get to build a fire, but next time! Thank you to all the staff for making this a delightful experience.

This place is such a hidden gem! I came here for my one-year anniversary and I am not really a true camper. So, I wanted something that still had the amenities that I needed, while still being in the great outdoors! We stayed in one of their brand-new tiny cabins, and they were incredible! Outlets, tables and a very comfortable bed! I was so happy to have a firepit so I could just sit on the deck and relax. It will really exceeded my expectations. They also have a great little store with some essentials if you forgot any, including wines and treats! Highly recommend, we will definitely be back!

A lot of road noise. Otherwise great stay. Amazing staff, wonderful time. Just difficult to sleep due to the noise.

First time ever glamping. Loved the heated bed. Clean restrooms and plenty of space between you and your neighbors. The only problem is that it's so quiet that you can hear every car drive by.

Rooms are nice, but the tents are SO close together. So loud. The highway is right next to campsite and is SO noisy. None of us slept at all. Really expensive for what you get which is basically nothing. Do not recommend.

Bethany checked us in and did a phenomenal job of explaining where everything was and recommending things. It was a great experience. My only recommendation would be that the store was open later.

This was a great stay during the non busy season. The campground, tents and bathrooms are well maintained and very clean. My only issue was the noisy road the site is near by. I heard vehicles all night long but I guess that’s why they give you ear plugs.

If you are allergic to bees do not go here. I was shocked to see there is no mention of bees on the website or in any other reviews that I browsed. During lunch time, we tried roasting hot dogs and were swarmed (not exaggerating) by bees. Same thing with everyone around us. Nearby campers said they gave up and ate lunch elsewhere. Site is nice enough but it’s close to the highway. Tents are very close together, too close IMHO and the bathrooms are only cleaned and restocked once per day which I found surprising. Saw a lot of mention of super clean bathrooms but that was not the case in my experience. Found it to be very expensive for what it was.

First time "glamping" instead of camping. Tents are close together and noise was a major issue on the first night. No enforcement of the advertised quiet time; several groups were up talking and laughing loudly until 1am (second night was better after reports to staff and offenders). Also overnight roadworks and traffic right next to the campground. Poor sleep overall despite the comfortable beds and earplugs. On the upside, the grounds are kid-friendly, the river is right there, and the wine tasting with live music was fun.

We had an amazing stay. The tents were extremely nice as well as all the facilities. We did this for a company retreat and had a blast!

We recently visit Wildhaven with a group of 5 families. We had an incredible time! The staff is extremely friendly, the cabins were very clean, and the entire area is beautiful and calming. We are already planning our next trip and can't wait to go back!

A friend and I did a girl's trip with our daughters. It was our first glamping experience and it was absolutely amazing. We shared a Riverside Tent and loved the close proximity and sound of the river. We felt very safe and were so comfortable in the tent, camp site, river, and in our surroundings.

Wildhaven staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable and the cleanliness of the tents, bathrooms and grounds was remarkable. We were also very impressed with how well all of our fellow glampers followed the rules, we were able to truly experience nature and relax.

We had so much fun cooking over our campfire pit and ended up making most of our meals during our stay and our daughters enjoyed making s'mores each night. The complimentary coffee and hot chocolate were delicious and the ability to purchase ice and other necessities at the camp store was so convenient.

The trip went way too fast and we were wishing we had a few more days. Can't wait for our next trip. Thank you Wildhaven!

What a fantastic experience we had here! As locals, my family was excited to spend a night here to see what it was all about and it did not disappoint. It was a great opportunity to disconnect from our hectic lives and reconnect with nature and our young children. The tent was very spacious and very comfortable; including the queen beds that could be heated to the perfect temp for us, a space heater, extra cozy blankets and lamps and USB outlets for charging our phones and watches. Just outside of our tent we had our own hammock, firepit, and picnic benches. At night we roasted s'mores, listened to the river, and giggled the night away making shadow puppets. We had access to lawn games and clean bathrooms, and lovely grilling area if we needed something more then our fire pit. Being that we were only there for one night, we didn't have a need to hit up the cantina, but I've heard there is a game library, and items for purchase in case you forget anything (bottle of wine anyone)! We also noticed a sign that said we could have rented tubes for the river. It was a bit cold when we were there so we didn't rent any, but we did take advantage of the walking path that lead us to the river beach to skip rocks and watch the birds fly in and out of their nests. It was dreamy and the water was so clear. Next time our family needs to get away from the chaos of life, we will definitely head back to Wildhaven! We highly recommend this Alexander Valley gem.

The staff were friendly and everything was very clean! It was everything you would want out of a glamping experience. The only issue was how close the tents were. Not much privacy.

Wildhaven is an amazing place to stay! We live about 10 minutes away so this was a wonderful staycation for our family. The tents and accommodations exceeded my expectations. The beds are heated, the tent has a heater and lots of window panels so it’s bright in the day and dark at night. The shared amenities like showers and BBQ’s are all in excellent condition and so much better than anything I’ve ever seen at a campground. There’s even electricity…the whole 9 yards.

The store and campground is well stocked for anything you might need or may have forgotten to bring. A five minute walk leads you right to the Russian River.

Couldn’t recommend this place any more, definitely a must do!
