Wildwings of California reviews
17Little western screech owl was under my porch all day.made me nervous.called and spoke with bob who was so nice and helpful. He said if the bird is not injured it should fly away once it’s dark… bam.it flew away. Thanks bob for taking the time to help me out!
I brought Bob a baby sparrow who fell out of his nest a tad early. I called and emailed, he called me at midnite. What a great human being this man is. Another more recent miracle: A friend had the humane guys take a wounded owl to Bob just a few days ago. A true angel! You can see the video on youtube under "wheezer finds an owl".
If you find a wounded bird, make sure you cover their eyes with a light cloth or they may bite. Put them in a box with a lid with air holes and get the pup to Bob.
Crows attacked a blue Jay nest and a baby blue Jay fell out. I called the wildwings of calif and he told me to bring the baby bird in. We named him/her Bluey. Thank You for giving this baby another chance.
Kindest person I have ever come across. Saved a Lesser golden finch baby we brought. He stated out well.but went down hill fast. They were able to save this baby! Donation coming! Big thank you to the staff at this sanctuary!
The best, kindest people. Took in the injured crow fledgling I found that was probably only around 5 weeks old. The rehabilitator is wonderful for all he does.
Ive brought many birds here that have been injured. Very nice people, so happy the birds get another chance at life thanks to this kind hearted organization.
From the attic a baby sparrow fell we kept her or him alive for three days oh what a blessing to have such two beautiful people that does this full-time if you can donate to this lovely couple, my sleeping beauty baby Snow White Cinderella says her name is spell it yzma sounds like ezma.
I never was actually able to visit this place, but i was on call this morning trying to get help for a small baby sparrow, sadly Pepper (the sparrow) passed in my hands after a few moments, i can tell these people have a true heart for helping animals and and there very genuine people, i now know exactly where to go if i ever need animal help.
Referred me to a wonderful lady who took in orphaned baby possums. Now they have a chance.
Found a baby songbird in East LA and drove here to give to Bob. Thank you from Rosa & Joey
3 baby birds fell out of their nest. I could not get them to eat or drink water and the nest was too high up for me to put them back. I found this place online and thank goodness they took the birds and they said they know how to feed them and take care of them. Thank you so much for all you do Bob and Judy Everett, you truly are amazing.
Found a small pigeon being picked on by crows and i was so stressed so my bf and i took it here where Bob took it in with no problem i can tell he’s a very caring person and I’m so happy we found this place
I dropped off a baby Morning Dove. I was so happy to have found a place to take the little frightened bird. The Gentleman at the wild wings was very nice and very caring.
Serena saved my cats life! I am so grateful for meeting her. Thank you so much for you care and love.
I took a beautiful green goldfinch to Wildwings of California. My darn cat brought the bird inside the house, and I was able to obtain the precious bird from my cat. I noticed it had what appeared to be a broken wing. I took care of it overnight, but desperate in the morning to find a vet to take a look at the bird. Unfortunately, none of the places I called would take in a wild bird. Therefore, in my desperate search, I found Wildwings. I spoke with Bob who struck me as gracious and nice on the phone, and told me to bring the bird over.so I did.
They took the bird and could see the broken wing, and an unknown problem with his eye. They put me at ease right away. Also, I got to meet Bob, such a sweet and pleasant person. If it wasn't for Wildwings, I don't know what I would have done. They completely put my mind at peace. I'm just happy and in a better emotional place to know that they took the goldfinch, and will rehabilitate such an amazing, beautiful creature of nature for everyone else to enjoy.
They were Soo nice I found a owl in a warehouse and was able to bring it too them I am Soo happy he's in a safe environment and the guy was very nice
Absolutely wonderful people, we found a bluejay in our yard that hurt his wing and was unable to fly. We carefully put him in a box and brought him to Wildwings of California who did a quick exam and let us know that he would be just fine and for us not to worry. Thank you so much for being so kind to these little birds, we really appreciate your help!
