Wilkie's Inn, Pacific Grove CA

I was lucky to have found this quaint hotel while traveling and now am making it a yearly romantic get away. The location is perfect allowing you to walk easily along the Pacific Grove - Monterey paths. The host, Veronica is friendly and makes you feel welcome. The rooms are inviting, clean, and easy to relax in. A very peaceful retreat.

Made a booking and they refuse to refund my card after I had a family emergency terrible customer service. Extremely rude staff. Business must be slow.

This was a last minute get away stay that did not disappoint. Very clean and quiet. Great coffee and waffles. Rooms looked like they were recently remodeled. Close to down town.

I really loved staying here! The location was so great-close to the beaches but not right in the middle of all the tourists. Reasonably priced. Bed was super comfy. Good shower but I always wish they weren’t installed for people over 6’5”! But I get it. The room had super large windows that opened.
The room could use a few minor improvements to make it even greater:
1. Towel racks In shower
2. A table in the room
3. Coffee maker with extension cord so you can actually use it
4. Clean windows
Breakfast was very minimal so if that’s what you’re looking for, look elsewhere.
I will stay again if in Monterey.

Very outdated and mixed matched furniture that made no sense in the room because you couldn't see the TV from the one chair they had for both of us to sit in. There was however a unmatching desk chair. But there was no electrical outlets by the desk so I couldn't work at the desk unless I had moved it myself. The bed was very uncomfortable. The showers are completely redone and very nice and do not match anything else in the hotel.

I enjoyed my stay but I’m very upset that they never gave me a refund due to a mistake of date I made. The gentleman at the front desk in the night said to call agoda or booking to get a refund and to let them know he said yes but I never saw that refund.

The hotel was in a great neighborhood everything is close Including the 17 mile entrance. Some great walking and Running routes.

The front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating. The newly renovated rooms look great!
