My kid’s love this park because it has a beautiful river, and the walking trails are nice too.
I really love the wildlife and serene experience in this area. Bikers think they own the paved trail and can be rude sometimes trying to side swipe pedestrians. As long as you veer to the left after the bridge towards the river, you can avoid the cyclists. Other than that, spring has sprung with tons of butterflies drinking nectar from wildflowers, turkeys/hens, Jack rabbits, hawks, vultures, squirrels, lizards, deer and coyotes! The experience is magnificently peaceful just minutes from the city! $6 parking.
Kids love hanging out here and it’s a reasonable bike ride. River has been high due to the rains.
Wish less people knew of this park THE GARBAGE LEFT BEHIND IS GROSS AND POINTLESS
