Willie's Burgers Arden, Carmichael CA

Food was great but their attempt to make this an outdoor hang out place was poorly done. The bocce ball area was just a big sand pit with small kids playing with beach toys in it. The outdoor checkers were scattered all over the place. The giant jenga was the only thing usable but there wasn't a good surface to play it on. We were looking forward to hanging out, eating and playing bocce ball but that didn't work out. The food was good though. And, if you have a toddler that likes to play in a big sand box, well then, this is the place for you.

The chili cheese burger was amazing. The fried zucchini was to die for with piles of garlic. We will definitely be back.

We live within walking distance from Willie's and wanted so much to like this place as it's in such a great location. Unfortunately, the food was less than edible. We ordered two different burgers, fries, onion rings and chicken strips for the kids. I couldn't finish my burger; it had no flavor and made my stomach hurt for some reason. The chicken strips were so disgusting that even our dog wouldn't eat them. We will not be returning.

Food is overpriced cost $55 for 3 people to get a cheeseburger/fry worse than in n out. They served me cold fox fries with a cold slab of cheese on top. Had to ask for new ones where they reheated the same French fries.

Staff was rude to my wife when she asked for a side of sauce. When I confronted management they made no sign of correcting their employee.

I didn’t hate the food and was giving this place a chance. Have come here about 3 times in the last couple months. I am done after this last experience. Looking at the reviews this isn’t an isolated experience. Hirer managers that will correct your rude staff and do better. Serving cold zoo fries just proves you are an overpriced version of in n out with bad service.

Avoid at all costs if you don’t like wasting money and time.

Have gone twice in 2 weeks. First time was meh with a really over cooked burger. Fries were good though. Thought we would give it another go. This time, worse! Order taker got order wrong, and the Hammer 2's we eventually got.where's the beef? Wafer thin patties with more condiments than burger. The onion slide was bigger and thicker than the burger. This was way different that 2 weeks ago where the burgers were decent size (thickness). These burgers were more like sliders. $30 for 2 sliders! We tried twice, not worth the time or money. Sorry guys, we tried to make it work for the little guy, but the product?

This is an awesome place to grab a burger. Delicious food. Wonderful service and fast turnaround. The place had burger shack with modern class vibes. With the rolled stell wall panels and ceiling. Along with clean wood accents throughout the place. Simply put, it's a great place for delicious burgers and fries.

Got a chili burger, o rings, and oreo cookie shake. The o rings and shake was delicious. The chili on the burger was pretty greasy and bland.

Amazing hammer with bacon.

Smokers were hanging around outside so that stunk. Inside of the establishment was nicely modern.

We met the owner who is a talented local artist. The food, prices, and atmosphere were above our expectations, based on the name of the place.

Love Willie's BMT and PB Shake. Kicked my addiction to the Chili cheese fries. Nevermind, going for CCFs soon.

This was my first time eating here. The food was very tasty, but I feel a bit pricey for the size. Very nice atmosphere though and saw an old-time neighbor there, so that was nice!

Great food and atmosphere. Stopped by here after my son's volleyball tournament. Great way to end the day. Definitely coming back.

Fantastic experience! My wife and I got burgers and fries and the fried zucchini. All was delicious and the side portions were huge, definitely enough to share between several people. The staff was super friendly and appreciative of our business. We will be back!

I’m not one to leave a review unless something is really good, or really bad. Unfortunately this is not a good view.
I am bummed because my husband and I wanted to love it. We live 2 miles away and have driven by many times and have said we need to give Willie’s a try. Tonight we did and left very disappointed. Upon walking inside i loved the decor and the menu seemed promising. I was excited to see they had our favorite hard cider too. We ordered a double cheese burger, chicken sandwich, garlic fries, and fried zucchini. All of which sounded delicious. The food took quite awhile to be prepared, about 25 minutes. The fries were soggy with zero garlic on them. The fried zucchini were sliced paper thin with way too much greasy breading and had a heaping pile of garlic on top (which was meant to be on the fries). The burger was soggy and had zero flavor. The chicken sandwich was bland, had wilted lettuce and way too much thickly sliced onion. Honestly it was some of the worst food we have ever had. You could tell that zero effort was put into the cooking. I was prepared to ask for a refund or for at least for the fries and zucchini to be remade but after waiting over 10 minutes for ketchup and ranch when we asked, I felt like asking for a refund was not worth the hassle, plus the staff did not seem like they were very with it. Complete waste of $55. We really were hoping to find a great local spot but unfortunately Willie’s is not it. We will never be returning.

The burgers are delicious and better than most around. I also tried the onion rings. And though I can only eat a few after the burger, I save them and I’ve snacked on them often on this lazy Sunday afternoon they’re delicious and sweet, even the part of the batter that doesn’t have the onion on it. Wonderful. Very generous portions. New owner and host Stephanie if she’s there when you go there, she will greet you. Warm, inviting staff a very strong menu. It’s very nice vibe inside very clean love it. You should go there. If you haven’t been there if even if you’ve been there, you should return and experience it again.

It's the Sacramento version of Original Tommy's in LA, which I've eaten at. They have excellent chili burgers and fries here at Willie's. The place is clean and inviting, a great place for lunch. The kitchen will customize your burger to your exact specifications. Keep in mind it's going to be messy to eat, but worth it. Grab lots of napkins.

First time at this location. Derrick was on it with the recommendations. He recommended the Zoo fries and the chocolate shake. Food was awesome and prices were very reasonable. We will definitely come back!

Went with my partner for a Tuesday lunch. The people working there were sweet and great. Also got a fat student discount which is usually from mon-fri 2pm-5pm. Because of that student discount it made food more delicious.

It’s been a family favorite for years for a quick dinner. Just the right balance of price and being better than other quick options to make it a no brainer choice a lot of nights. I’m here now picking up food for my own family now so I guess you could say it’s now been loved for generations! They did an update to give it a cozier feel, upgraded the alcohol selection and have some fun games like bocce to make it even better spot to stop and hang out for any group.

Great space and location. Food was perfect and checkout was easy. Gotta love burgers and garlic fries! (And beer!)
