Willingham's World Champion BBQ, Redondo Beach CA

This place is so good with great quality BBQ! I ordered lunch and got the ribs plate. I like that I can have the bbq sauce on the side and how my ribs was yet still moist and full of flavor. The ribs had the right amount of balance of lightly crisp from the grill and softness of the meat. The bake beans had the right amount of sweetness and boldness along with the amazing potato salad!

A friend brought us brisket, baked beans and beef ribs from Willingham's, IT WAS AMAZING! Best brisket, beef ribs and baked beans I have had in all of Cali! The brisket was as tender and juicy as could be and was bursting with flavor! The beef rib was tender and flavorful and the baked beans were perfection with pieces of brisket mixed in! A must have, if you are in SouthBay!

Hand down the best BBQ in Redondo Beach. Maybe the best in the South Bay. I have not tried everywhere, but this is great. The Beef Ribs are to die for. Not just ribs, but ribs and a chunk of meat. Each rib is easily one pound. But the brisket, pork ribs, and side dishes are also some of the best I've had.

Beef ribs are money my favorite for sure and the brisket sandwich and two meat combo is really good deal. Love this place.

This is absolutely excellent, Bbq. Certainly worth the drive to the South Bay hands down. "Baby Blues Bbq in Venice" burnt down several months ago. We loved "The Rib Nest" in Gardena for 20 + years or more.they closed and moved to Riverside. We've tried several other famous Bbq. Willigham's is our now " go too for Bbq"!

I honestly can't get over how bomb their pork sandwiches (I get spicy bbq) are. If I come here once, I tend to come back a second time the same day and the whole time im eating I keep telling myself, "wow. "

Ribs were fall off the bone delicious! The best BBQ I have had in the South Bay, possibly all of LA. If I was to nitpick I would say I wish they had a few more sauce options and maybe burnt ends.

I was there Thursday July 7,2022 at 12: 20 pm. They were Closed. The hours on the door said 11am till they run out of food. Either they're permanently closed, or something is off.
Not going back to find out!

I generally will look for a BBQ place and will go out of my way to taste a new one. This one is reasonably close to me and I missed it until now. It's a small place with only three tables but the BBQ is BIG! Great pork ribs and brisket. You are actually given a choice of how fatty you want your brisket. Pulled pork and jalapeno sausage and excellent. I have not tried the turkey breast yet but those are the five protein choices. Side dishes are very traditional and legit. Up to now the Whiskey Flats in San Pedro was my favorite BBQ in South Bay but now it's Willingham's World Famous BBQ.

Stop in and the Q was on point I needed more sauce though didn't realize until I left and upon opening the bag one sauce and I got the double meat brisket and ribs but overall it was good I mean for this district they have a strong chance no competition for what they're making some good Q give it a try for yourself and enjoy I did stay safe with the slaw and beansenjoy"!

Collard greens were almost inedible, very vinegary. Cream corn was not great either. Brisket was ok. Overall experience was a big, no thanks.

I'm a BBQ head. I look for good BBQ everywhere I go. I am born and raised in the South Bay and this place I didn't even know about as it's very very small and on a side of town that is kind of the corner of the south bay.
The Brisket is off the chain. Now you have to know how to order it. Either dry or moist which means either lean or fatty. I actually had them do half moist and half dry for my sandwich. I was beyond impressed I could find good brisket like this In Redondo Beach. I had my brisket sliced and the meat has the perfect amount of smoke, tender, moist and the spices just right. For a small take out place these guys offer some amazing grub. I got the "Mild" sauce on the side but didn't need the BBQ Sauce. I thought the sauce ruined the Brisket. Next time I'll try their sweet sauce and Baked Beans.
Either get the Plate and get the works with your brisket or get the sandwich. I had the regular brisket sandwich and wished I had got the Jumbo. If you are getting anything other than the brisket your just missing out. There is not a better BBQ spot in the entire south bay that's for sure. Don't waste your time going to the del amo mall BBQ, come here. I have only been once just the other day and was beyond amazing. Can't wait to come back!

Great piece of meat, but no flavor. I added everything in my kitchen to bring life to this meal. Ordered the spicy baked beans sigh. Tasted like pork and beans from a can no flavor. The potato salad bland no flavor Giving up on Cali BBQ right now. I'll try again later.

The sandwiches were nice but the brisket was a little dry. If you don't feel like bbq-ing yourself, this ia a decent place to get some. The service was nice.

Excellent, friendly service. Delicious brisket and ribs, packed caringly in bag. They are really on their game. The only complaint I have is their potato salad was more like mashed potatoes, too creamy, and I didn't care for the taste but everything else was EXCELLENT! I'll be back.:)
