I loved it because it is so active with kids and things to do. True, it is dusty and the trail is dusty. But it is nice to have a trail. The site was level but I don't like the rock road and paths everywhere. Having the sites with a common front door was weird but we just sat on the service side of the trailer in the shade and it was private. We would come back and stayed in site 17. We paid $66 per night which is a bit much.

The ambiance here could use some work also the gate was locked. I will say that if I owned an RV with a TV screen on the outside, I would also want to watch a movie sitting in a lawn chair. But again, ambiance not

Sites are too close together. Unlike other koa's we've visited over the years. Kids will probably love this place though.

This place has something for everyone! We couldn't have found a nicer, cleaner facility. The location was great and the staff was helpful. Hope to plan a family reunion there next year.

Facilities are nice but no late night security of any kind allows families to run amok well past 2am.

I'll start by saying this. Absolutely beautiful hiking trail in the Hills adjacent to but part of the property the property. However, we are Extended Stay Travelers and not Weekend Warriors and it appears that Weekend Warriors ignore the lease laws with their dogs. My next door neighbor has a blue dog who growls and charges at me and my wife and dog every time we walk by. We're in a time where you can't say anything to your neighbors because of the tines. Finally the owner sees me recoil when the dog jumps at me and says it's okay he doesn't bite. I explained to her in a courteous way that that's what the last Blast Off lead dog owner said when my wife Was Bitten two months ago. We depend on the staff who bumbles by in their golf cart a hundred times a day seeing the dog that's not on the leash and not saying a word. So ultimately it is the parks responsibility to enforce the rules. I know this to be true because I've been to dozens of KOA's to include the first KOA ever made and all the other parks enforced leash rules. It really makes for a bad experience. That aside, the adjacent property and hills and hiking trails alone are a great reason to come here and stay and not the under sized sites for big rigs and problems with dog leashes. 5 out of 5 if they enforced leash rules and were a little more forthright on the size of their sites.

I would only go here if you have an RV and children. The tent spots are right up against the playground and the light shines on them. Camp sites are very close together here. It is also more expensive than other KOA's. That said, it did seem like a good family oriented getaway if that's what you are looking for.

This place has so many things to do and many different sites that have special amenities. They have sites that include a private hot tub for example. The water park, pool, petting zoo and climbing play structure were super fun for my two girls aged 2 and 3. There's ans small pool only 1.5 feet deep.

The staff here really went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Our group had several questions about the stay and everyone went out of their way to make sure we were happy. In particular, Ashley, was most helpful. We were so happy we're coming back next year with a bigger group.

Been coming here for a long time. 3-4 times a year. Seems very different with Dave and Helena gone. Bunch of kids riding around howling and screaming at 9 pm on bikes. I know kids are kids but yelling screaming. Very loud. People in sites around smoking marijuana again their issue not mine. But I don’t want to smell it. And just an all around deadline in overall family environment.

We had to leave back home for a family health emergency and they were very understanding. Staff and facilities were awesome. Great place for families who like outdoor accommodations! Will go back!

We stayed here the beginning of summer for one night. Stayed in a teepee. I thought the staff was great. Helpful. Our sight was backed up to a grazing pasture and the cows came out in the morning. It was really beautiful. Very cold at night so keep that in mind if you rent a teepee.

I had a reservation for a 40' 5th wheel. I don't have enough room for my tow vehicle, sites are tight. It is dusty! Roads and campsites are rock. The worst part is that I have never been to a campground where the other campers are so rude. They walk thru your site constantly. One even walked through with her dog unleashed. My dog is on a leash. I don't appreciate that at all.

I can’t give any stars due to such a bad stay at Willits koa! Very rude people! Very uninformative workers i can’t believe they are still in business I will never recommend anyone to stay at that place! They are a bunch of thieves and crooks! Please don’t waste your money people it’s not worth it

Overall it was pretty nice. The staff are always very nice and good customer service. The showers could be kept a little cleaner and the shower curtains had little mold on.

If you get the chance, skip it. Paid $50 only to not have restrooms available (apparently normal for late check in). Then they don't get in till 8am and the restrooms are closed from 9am till 1pm? 4 hours for cleaning? Worst Koa I've been to in the nation!

Shower was down. These things happen. What’s the backup plan? They have one! The staff was excellent. Very nice place.

Great location for young children, much to do, family set up, secure too. Only down side is some of what is advertised is no longer available. Very friendly staff.

Folks very friendly etc. Not a bad park and has all sorts of things for kids. Low rating because of the showers.

They were just awful.
