Wilshire Motel, Los Angeles CA

We thought it was great. The parking situation was a bit weird but you always got out or were waved out.
We had a small cottage with two rooms. Nothing comparable in Santa Monica at this price. I hope it manages to last for a while longer.

Small Motel with a very quiet atmosphere. Excellent service and attention of all staff. Parking included. Very well located to visit Los Angeles. Close to a supermarket, very useful. Reasonable price according to LA.

Small motel halfway from Beverly Hills and the Santa Monica pier.free parking! And guarded.spacious rooms.it is on a very busy street but we had no disturbances.the price is a little too high.but you can't find less around here

We have been to this motel twice. It looks very old at first glance, the rooms seem to have remained stuck in the 90s. But when you open the door, perfect cleanliness and good smells (even a little too much). The bed has a very firm mattress, not very pleasant, but that does not prevent a good sleep. Noise level, there can be quite a lot of noise coming from the road and also depending on the delicacy of the neighbours. The person at the reception is rather nice, special mention for the caretaker who watches day and night over access to the motel. He even recognized us when we got back! Indeed well located for LAX airport, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica. There are also very practical small shops (supermarket, fast food, pharmacy) in the neighborhood. To sum up, a small motel without pretensions but very practical and above all affordable for the city.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Front desk friendly and helpful. The security guard was great, friendly, helpful. Different hotel experience, would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location 20min from the airport, 15min from Beverly hills, 20min from Santa Monica and Hollywood. It's very clean and we are guided at each maneuver to get out or get in the car. Ultimately great value for money

Very well located and with 24 hour security. On the other hand, it is not well insulated acoustically, the parking lot is small and the toilet was easily clogged.
In any case, I would recommend it for the price-quality ratio.

This hotel is not fancy but the bed was comfortable the room was clean and I had everything I needed.

Nice place with everything you need for a city trip! Has a little fridge and microwave and a big comfy bed! Stores and restaurants near, also a big supermarket just 2 minutes walking! We enjoyed our stay!

Make sure you ask ahead of time which room you'll be getting. I read online that this place would be peaceful and quiet, yet when I checked in I was given the room that was closest to a busy street. All night I heard traffic driving by. It was NOT peaceful, not worth $122 at all.

Friendly courteous staff no matter when you check in. Vintage and efficient describe the Wilshire Motel. Rooms are appointed with comfy beds, tv, and portable heater. Towels, shampoos, and soaps in the bathrooms. Touches of vintage reveal true old construction and are a welcoming memory in this age of plain and uninspiring starkness. We've stayed several times and would do so again.

Fantastic friendly and helpful staff. Nice little own house, easy parking. Will definately come back.

The only reason I have it a 4 star is because the only heat in the rooms is space heaters and I was there in a unusually cold time. The fuse kept blowing when we ran the space heater, and I had to go get the security guard to reset it! The motel staff, security guards, and the housekeeping staff were all very nice and accommodating. The location is excellent.
