A very interesting tour. It would have been nice to actually see a little more of the house & the weird features but it was still fun. In my opinion the tour should last longer than an hour especially considering the rather high price of the guided tour. While I enjoyed the house & story behind it you are very limited in what you can do & see.

I have had this on my list of places to visit for years and it did NOT disappoint. Quirky, maybe spooky (in the best way!) and a very entertaining tour.
The rooms are being slowly restored but the house as a whole is a sight to behold.
We did the 1-hour tour and really loved it!

After 20+ years of living in San Jose, I finally got a chance to book a tour - and I must say that the experience was worth it! I've enjoyed learning the history behind it, Sarah Winchester seems like quite a character!

The thing that made this tour special for me, apart from it being my first visit, is that I got to enjoy my time there with my bf, as we had recently celebrated our 1st year together! ️

I hear that they would have flashlight tours on Friday the 13th, so I'd definitely be interested to come back for that!

My boys (11& 13), boyfriend and I loved the tour. Seeing history, feeling the amazing and talented engineering of the home as well as her spiritual beliefs was quite remarkable. Love that we could get stretched pennies for our boys so that they would have a memory forever that were not expensive at all. My boys we engaged the entered tour and loved taking pictures of every little detail. They loved the gift shop and the prices were not so high that it turned you off from purchasing from there.

Over priced.basicly it's a house that belonged to Winchester business owner. When owner died family sold everything valuable left house gutted. Whoever owns it now got the cheapest finishings from that period and stuffed it in every room. Not original furniture. Small rooms. Staff is very friendly and nice. Grounds are ok. For my wife and myself it was $80 basic tour. She liked it.

Not sure how the tour is during the day time. At night the "cast" can be somewhat amateurish. The night tour is kindof childish. Not what we expected.

Absolutely stunning. So much history and so much incredible architecture and design! Life goal number 23 accomplished!
Will definitely be returning.

Came with my family in 2006, and now with my husband and nephew in 2018. It gets more and more incredible everytime! Emerson on the House Tour was great and very informative. And Eric for the Explore More Tour was hilarious and very energetic. (He needs more puns, lol). Both were awesome and made the whole adventure one to remember. Can't wait to come again!

Wish I could have spent more time there, like one on one, but very awesome. I forget the tour guides name, but it was a gent and he kept our attention and kept us on our toes. Lol.

This place is really cool. I've been wanting to visit for a long time. We chose to do the "candle lit" haunted house tour and it was cool. I've never been there during the day but the house was lit up enough during the night tour that I was able to see most of the place. In the chaos of a friday night, I missed the parking lot and ened up on the freeway. Sucked for me but we still made our tour on time. Be careful where you turn.

Really nice and bizzare house. Take the tour if you ever come here.that way you understand the mystery and history of the house and it's owner. (Sarah Winchester). Please make sure you use the restroom before you go on the tour just a reminder.

Dont trust that getting your tickets online will hold your spot in line. We came with 9 people, and since there was only 3 spots available, we had no choice but to get our alleged tickets refunded. After driving long distance to get there. Thanks go to the I. T.department. Your website is useless.

The $10 extra for the "See more" tour is absolutely worth it. The ghost in the basement is very friendly but curt as he is busy. The tour guide Roxy is an absolute joy! She made my birthday special!

Really underwelming. There was a very lackluster guide for the candlelight tour complete with props that either didn't work or were ill timed. Was not worth $50 a ticket. One more example of how commercialism can totally ruin the authenticity of something.

I recently visited the Winchester Mystery House after about 8 years since my last visit, and I was really pleased with the changes they made to the place. They now have an electronic shooting range with plenty of spooky things happening, a refreshment stand, and the extended tour now takes you to more places than before. I had a lot of fun!
