I am so sorry I ever put my husband here. He went in their walking and died three weeks later. They kept me away from him for 10 days (that of course I will never get back) so he could “adjust”. On day 10, I ignored them and went. My husband is bruised and unable to walk. Laundry had not been done (per contract) and he had a warm sweatshirt on a very hot day. His room was intolerably hot most of the time as the AC did not work. They brought in a noisy fan to mitigate the problem (which did not work). My husband was constantly pulling all his clothes off because he was so hot. The staff, while generally kind, were pretty incompetent (and pretty difficult to understand). I don’t think the Medtechs have any formal training as they did not seem to understand PRN and mixed up his meds on the last night of his life. Frankly, I don’t think any of them get any real training.

Costs are supposed to be prorated on a daily basis and their outrageous community fee of $7500 is supposed to be refundable on a sliding scale. Instead, I received a bill yesterday and a withdrawal from my bank account today for the next month. OUTRAGEOUS!

Over the course of several weeks as we researched a community for our father, we spent time getting to know WindChime, it's location, it's services, and throughout the process Gary was a true delight to work with—genuinely caring, direct and honest, generous and hugely helpful!

My mother is very happy at Windchime; she feels as though she is on Retreat. I attribute her sense of well being to the loving and caring staff, and to her fellow residents. The last time I visited her she walked into the lobby with a new stylish hair cut and smiles from ear to ear. Thank you WindChime.

This is an exclusive dementia care community in a peaceful Marin county setting. They are dementia experts, specifically trained to care for residents with surroundings and activities specially designed for their needs. They have a lovely ground floor activity area, with doors that open up to a stunning rose garden and the top floor with views of Mt Tam. They have an excellent culinary program (I have enjoyed several meals there!), great staff longevity and an Executive Director that is an RN. Your loved ones will be loved and taken care of with the utmost dignity and respect.

I've looked at other facilities and I honestly feel that Windchime is the best because of their care and activities.they're also very strict with their covid guidelines and it makes me feel safe!

I have no doubt in my mind that Windchime was the best placement for my loved one. I love their activity programming and that everything is person centered. Brittany has really helped me and my family through some difficult times and I’m forever thankful. The caregivers treat my loved one as if they were a member of their own family. I would definitely recommend Windchime of Marin to anyone looking for memory care!
