Windmill Farms reviews
16Always a great selection of just about anything you'd need. Wide selection of organics, bulk, breads and a great deli! Amazing selection of beers, frozen vegan foods as well as vegan cheeze, spreads, butters and drinks. This is a great source for vegans and vegetarians as well as every other foods! One of our favorite "go to" stores or organics and vegan foods!
I don't live in that area but if I am there I usually stop at Windmill Farm store. They make great sandwiches, although like everything else the prices went up.
Customer service/politeness/soft skills from some of their employees could use some work. Other than that, this store is great for reasonably priced, good-for-you, and tough to find items!
The sandwiches at the deli here are the best quality. I go out of my way to get a sandwich here if I’m craving one because it’s a lot cheaper here than other sandwich places and the ingredients are always so fresh. I recommend this place to everyone!
Grocery outlet is fantastic. Especially for wine price and frozen foods. You can find some unexpected treats here. The staff is always friendly and it's quick to get through the lines.
This is in response to Matt, the Store Owner. I'm responding to the response you left about 3 days ago.
I've been to your store about 4 times. My wife twice. So together, it's been 6 times. 5 out of 6 times we were racially profiled. I can speak to you personally if you'd like. But I'm fully convinced that your employees don't like people of color.
Windmill has reduced their produce section and increased their microbrew and deli selection.
They are next door to a shop that specializes in a large beer and wine selection.
Disappointing change in philosophy.
Hey, Matt.my apologies. You guys are the most consistent out there. Sometimes when we customers are so spoiled by such a great business model, you'll bypass the simple logistics of supply and demand. A year later, here I am. Literally eating my words! And they taste delicious! Your contribution Rocks as foes your staff and crew of Rock Stars.thanks again! Rock On!
Best produce in town, plus killer staff. JK makes a mean Lindsey special if you stop by the deli! 5 stars - I'd give it 6 if I could.
I've always enjoyed shopping here. No problem finding what I need and prices are competitive. The deli makes great sandwiches for a reasonable price. Employees are friendly and helpful.
This used to be one of my favorite places to buy produce, but quality has diminished greatly while everything became more expensive.i was looking for cherry tomatoes and every carton was moldy.it looked like there was mold growing on the wall behind the produce, too.my carrots went bad within a week of purchase when they usually last up to two weeks.there's just so much mold everywhere that the produce doesn't seem safe to eat.i won't be coming back.
Always have good deals on produce & other things. The carry a good selection of lactose free yogurts & some cheeses. Very pleasant & helpful workers.
Staff is super friendly. Great selection regardless what your food preference is. Love the variety. Produce is always stoked and fresh. Deli area is always helpful! Ready to get you what you need or help you find it. Love the ladies at the front. Been shopping here my whole life. No complaints about Windmill Farm's whatsoever.
This place is ***great*** - prices competitive with Sprouts, in many cases a bit lower. Best variety of allergen friendly products I've seen anywhere in one place in San Diego. Fun selection of fancy beers and bulk coffees, plus an *extremely* friendly and helpful staff-I spoke to 3 employees in 3 different sections of the store and they were all absolutely lovely. Can't wait to go back!
The store seems very expensive, comparing prices for standard brand items against other more traditional grocery stores I noticed quite a difference.
