They sent out detailed info leading up to the trip around what to expect and check in the morning of to ensure good weather. The day we went it was great outside and had a pretty long ride! This experience was everything I'd ever ask for if someone were to wonder what I'd want out of my first time hang gliding.
It was my first time doing tandem hang gliding ever this past October and I'm so glad I did it with Windsports Hang Gliding! I planned a trip to LA for my birthday and booked the reservation a week (or two) in advance. It was an easy process to register online. The day before the scheduled flight, Josh notified me via email that it had to be canceled due to the weather/wind conditions.
Josh worked with me to reschedule the experience for me and my sister almost immediately, even as I was messaging him late in the evening. We were able to reschedule the session for the very next day or so, and it was an amazing experience! Josh, his colleagues, and his other students were kind and welcoming to me and my sister. We enjoyed the bumpy ride up the mountain, watched some safety videos, and had a practice run before setting off. Also, buying the gopro video is well worth it in my opinion.
If you like riding roller coasters, and want to do something badass to brag about to your friends and family, I recommend booking with Windsports Hang Gliding!
