Great food of BBQ Chicken chopped salad. Crisp and tasty. Iced tea served was just right with second glass delivered before being asked. Service was excellent. Fast and efficient.

Food is not a big deal, I don't like it, it's like shopping at the Whole Foods Market. We ordered to pick it up but I thought they would serve us 3 plates of food, but each thing is served in separate containers and when one travels it is uncomfortable to eat in the car to grab from each tank and put on a single plate. We ordered raspberry ice tea and plain water, without any flavor. Ah! But the charge is a good ticket, not to look ridiculous. $ 90.00 for 3 meals is a lot of money

Had the tri tip with grilled corn and peanut Cole slaw, was really good. The onion shreads with BBQ sauce is the best. Thanks

This was a great stop after a day in Camarillo. Our waitress was very professional and nice, I miss this kind of service. I may have been dinning in LA too long lol

We went to the area to visit a friend who came by. The restaurant was on the nicer and more expensive side. We got seated quickly even though it was around the usually busy dinner time, and we got an outside table too, which was good. They had the tables kinda separated because of covid, but it was pretty full. I got the wood ranch steak, my friend got rib-eye with asparagus and and another got a sandwich. They were all good, I really enjoyed my steak. I chose the 7oz and it was perfect for me as I usually don't eat a lot, but for sure not enough for a bigger guy; there's another option for 10oz though, and it comes with 2 signature sides. The staff was nice, they came to our table several times to ask if we needed anything else, and when we asked for extra bread/tea/water, they brought those fast too. Overall it was a nice dinner there, I will come back if I go in town again.

Besides three trips from the take out person in order to find our order everything was great the food is always good and cooked right, the brisket is always juicy and tender, one the best places to get brisket around the 805 area.

My go-to BBQ place.more upscale than most barbecue restaurants. I am from the south, and pretty exacting about my meat and sides. Wood Ranch scores tops in both areas. My favorite is the Carolina pulled pork with peanut coleslaw (comes with plain slaw but I get the nutty version as one of my sides). Their burgers are delicious, and I have to have one of their entree salads at least once a week. The bbq chicken salad has plenty of toppings, including fresh corn cut off the cob and tortilla strips. The tri-tip salad is also delectable if you prefer meat to chicken. And most of the menu items come with their signature fresh garlic rolls. My only issue has been with the brisket, which can sometimes be on the dry side. There is a full bar with good vibes, weekly happy hour specials and a well-above-average wine selection. Service is consistently good. Right now, they still have quite a bit of outdoor tent dining, but even during non-pandemic times, they have a nice side patio. Easy access on and off the 101 freeway, as well as usually adequate parking during peak times (weekends and after 5: 00) when nearby businesses are closed.

Great community here! We celebrated my dad's work promotion and a stranger paid for his lunch. Great food, great service!

Waitress (Kimmy better known as Karen in 2021) (and later on manager) wouldn't let me get a drink because of my Arizona Drivers license. Manager said he scanned them but then admitted that his scanning machine didn't work so that didn't make a difference anyways. Overall horrible experience and terrible customer service. Hoping this branch gets better because I really enjoy the restaurant.

Found hair in my food. I didn't want it replaced. My glass that I was drinking from was cracked and i bit into guacamole that had the end of the stem from the avocado in it. In my opinion my bill should have been taken care of, it was not. The manager brought me my bill.

The service is excellent. The waitresses are kind. And the other reviews about this place are true! My friend and I had the tri-tip, and it was heavenly. The steamed broccoli is solid, and they even serve you garlic-bread rolls (which barbecue sauce on the side) as an appetizer.

Love this place and the food. It's consistently excellent and the prices are great. I haven't been back since they've been forced outside but I'm anxious for them to be back to normal.

Tri tip salad is amazing. Friendly staff. Very helpful. My table service was slow but they where busy. Seated quick 5 min wait to order outside patio dining. Cold beer. Good food. Great view! Planes flying by, and 101 gives something to distract from reality. Great food. Great visit.

Ordered takeout tonight for 8 people (3 children and 5 adults). We ordered the VALUE PACK for 8 people. It was so delicious and there were plenty of leftovers. We called in the order and it was ready at the exact time we were given for pickup. There are plenty of staff to assist with take out orders. Everything felt very organized. I felt like we received a lot of food for $200.

The salad was good, and I was pleased with the GF options. However my husband ordered a 10 oz of side tri-tip and it looked pretty meager. Decided to measure it and it was just over 8 oz. Pretty disappointing to be shorted, especially for the price.

Staff was friendly and courteous. Wait time was only 15 minutes for outdoor dining. The tri-tip, pulled pork and sweet potatoes were delicious. Can't wait to come back!

UPDATE: Feb 24,2021- The general manager of this location has contacted me personally to apologize for what I understand was most recently a computer issue combined with some needed management training on the customer service end, as well as emphasized his desire and focus on continued quality control. We hope to return and update our experiences in the future.

I'm a bit exhausted by my local Wood Ranch location this year. We have had a ton of quality issues while ordering TOGO and I generally do not call and say anything, but, a few times I have and was compensated with a future replacement item as noted in the guest service book.

Well we ordered our usual 4 pack to go for Valentine's Day in advance to take to a local park and eat a romantic but covid safe meal.

Our trip tip was entirely uncut, I mean the slices didn't even clear halfway through the meat and I could lift the ENTIRE portion at once.

Our beans had more than 1 or 2 pieces of macaroni in them, I get utensils maybe cross contaminating but there was a generous amount of hard macaroni in our beans.

Our chicken was also not the Quality we typically get and very tough and overly charred.

In general it was not a meal conducive to eating out, as intended as we couldn't serve or eat the tri tip at all, cut the chicken with the provided utensils, and let's face it, not very sexy to be scooping chunks of yellow noodles out of your baked beans.

In any case, I called up at 2PM on Valentine's, still pretty bummed at my special romantic meal and the quality. I spoke to a customer service rep/server? Who put me on hold to speak to a manager.

I told the manager my frustrations and he apologized profusely repeating back my issues and saying he would coach his staff on better cutting and serving and offered me a $40 credit for next time ($40 was based on half a 4 pack) - I didn't ask for his name as we'd never had issues before.

Well today, exhausted on my way home from work and not wanting to cook I decide to pull in and order. I mention our credit and the server comes back out confused and to verify.then several minutes later a man who I can only assume was the manager on duty (portly looking cacausian male with a receeding hairline, I guess I fail at life because I didn't get his name either.) comes to my car saying he has no record of my conversation on Valentines and without the name of the manager I spoke to won't honor my credit. Which, mistakes happen, but why he had no solution to try and contact a manager above him or use my details to figure it out, or serve me in some other solution, I don't know.

I'm just exhausted with pandemic Wood Ranch at this point. Such a shame the service and consistency is all over the place the past year. Usually our orders are flat missing things.

I last had a credit for brisket at the beginning of the year and I kid you not when we redeemed it we actually were given TRI TIP. And we never even bothered to follow up or complain on that.

I don't see us returning until life is back to normal, it's not worth the constant accuracy and quality issues in togo for the price.

Haven been in a while so I'm reminded why it is one of my favorite restaurants. Dining was outside but it was varm and comfortable. Can't wait to go back.
