The pizza is freaking amazing and the service is top notch. I totally recommend it here and their prices are very reasonable too.

Great little pizza place right off of sunset. Brussels sprouts were great, but small plates prices are pretty high. Pizzas were very good too.

First time been there small and cozy place small menu flavor great wood oven pizza can taste the wood flavor fantastic for me nor the usual convencional taste. We try the prosciutto piza. Rissoto arancini wonderful sauce flavor and gnocchi chicken rústica all great.we will return again oh parking in the rear.

I had the lemon pasta which was delicious and our table had pizzas and some other foods
but I brought my own wine because they didn't have it and the corkage was a little too high for that place.after all it's a tiny not fancy place and they charged 25$ for corkage.little too high
that's why I gave them a 4* and not a 5*.
corkage prices need to go down!

The food was pretty good, but I expected better at the price point. A Sprite is $7 and beer is $12 so they clearly charge a premium for every menu item. I don’t think the food or ambiance justifies it. Service was great though.

Carbonara is very tasty but only for a first few bite. It’s too creamy in my opinion. Ribeye steak is terrible. Overcooked and left the bitter taste on a mouth.

Wood is a very small intimate little spot in silver lake area.service was very good throughout the night, I was impressed by how helpful they were.first impression was right when walking in you're greeted! Felt very welcoming.seating inside is limited (we made a reservation) but it does appear to have lots of seating outside.we ordered the truffle pizza, meatball pasta & the carbonara.the truffle pizza was the best thing we got.cheese was so fresh! We were shocked. The pasta were good, nothing crazy! But the price was very high in my opinion for the amount you're getting. In total for 3 food items & 3 drinks (a beer & 2 wines) it was around $170. Which seemed high to be.the truffle pizza would be the reason I go back and try other items!

Great food but we received subpar service. Received 1 napkin for 2, server didn’t come by to see how we were doing or to refill our water, received our food really late and noticed that we were the only brown people in the restaurant. I’m hoping that the color of our skin wasn’t the reason for the poor quality of service.

Made a reservation for 6: 30 via Yelp and ended up waiting 45 mins (!) for a table. It didn't seem like they were even aware they had a reservation coming in. Normally, this would constitute a lower star rating but their food is soooo freakin good I can't do it to the chef. Maybe just give them a call and make sure they know you're coming in.

I was a little surprised by the prices of the pasta (a little on the higher side), but I guess with inflation everything is a lot more expensive.
Pizza was good. Portion for the pasta was a bit small. But the favorite was the banana cream pie.
Don’t sit near the restrooms! The smell is pretty strong

Wood is a classic example of a hidden gem on full display. It’s right on Sunset, everyone has seen it, but few have experienced it.

It’s one of the most distinct silverlake restaurants with a surprising variety of authentic chef-made dishes accompanied by cosy romantic vibes and great music.

I gave it three stars mainly because the food was decent but the portions are quite small and it's nothing spectacular for the exorbitant price that is charged pwr dish. Good service, and a nice pleasant atmosphere, love the patio. I just wish the other head slightly larger portions or the price point would come down, because it is pretty high for the type of place that it is, although I do understand it's in Silver Lake.but still.

Dined here last night. The menu is WAY OVERPRICED. About $5-$10 more a dish compared to top rated pizza and pasta like Bestia or Ronan! We weren't too thrilled about getting our appetizers after our pizzas and pasta. The food was good though, but nothing to write home about. Was it worth the prices? No. Would we go back? Probably not.

I’d give them a negative rating if I could.
It was a sunny day and I walked in with my 6-month old in a carrier, visibly sweating.
We looked at the menu and asked the server for a table. There was a 10 minute wait, and even though the menu was nothing much to look at, we said we’d be fine waiting.
I asked if we could wait inside so that the baby would be comfortable but the server was rude enough to say “please take your baby and stand outside while you wait! ”
I began gathering my things to walk out when the same server came back and almost reprimanded me with “Please wait out! ”
Like alright, there’s barely 4 tables inside and only 2 are full. Have some manners when there’s a lady and a baby at least. I’ve never been treated this way and will never return. What a disgusting staff-attitude and poor management

The foods was so mid.

We got the margarita ($24), sausage pizza ($28), chopped salad ($21) and truffle fries ($18) = 102 n some change

The chopped salad was especially super sad and the flavors just not there.

Nothing really stood out everything was overpriced for the quality/quantity.

Saw a pic for margaritas pizza for $18.that's why I went there.once I got there to pay. I was charged $27

Pizza is only fair. Won't be going back.save your $$
