One of the few remaining decent optical stores. Great selection of quality camera and telescope equipment. Twice have supplied me with hard to find items that were backordered everywhere else. Friendly and not pushy. They will be getting my future business for sure. Highly recommended.

The worst service from ANY company that I have ever had. I placed 2 orders. I received the wrong T-Mount and had to return it and still haven't received a credit. And I still don't have my entire order, despite being told that it was being shipped. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the hassle of getting the wrong advice and part and then, not getting everything that you order.buy from ANYONE ELSE.

This is a complicated answer. The staff including Victor and I believe the owner Sarah were very helpful. However waiting for the telescope that I ordered to be delivered was quite frankly a nightmare. That I put more I celestron than on Woodland Hills camera. I would like to a lot more however if they would have kept my expectations set properly. However if you are looking for a one stop shop to get everything you ever need for telescopes or cameras this is it.

Super helpful people here. It took me few minutes only to buy a telescope. Ask the experts there for buying new lenses or telescopes.

I purchased a telescope online with Woodland Hills back in September. Due to the pandemic, most everything was on back order, and the waiting game ensued. I called regularly to check on order, get mixed messages, and I was considering cancelling my order. That's when I started talking with Daniel. We worked out a solution to the issue with that particular manufacturer, and I could not be more grateful. While I admit I had some expectations in modern times, with the ease of online shopping, but I found that they went above and beyond from the day to day to really deliver a quality setup to me. Once we made a deal, shipping was quick, and I waited to write this review until I had ample time to test my equipment in the field. Well I cannot say that I have watched many of their online reviews for astronomy equipment, Daniel seems to have a grasp of the customers needs once he gets to talk to you. I am 100% happy with my purchase and making headway into my hobby that I hold so dear. Thank you for everything, and I look forward to dealing with you in the future.

I recently placed two orders with Woodland Hills Camera & Telescopes and couldn't be happier. My business depends heavily on providing great customer service. So, as a consumer, I'm always happy when I receive terrific service, which I did on both purchases, from Sarah & Steve.

I had to edit my review. It has happened twice now that I have ordered something, called ahead of time to confirm that it was in stock but then it turns out that it’s not in stock after I place the order. This behavior does not inspire confidence.

Great service! These guys are great, I needed help with an older telescope. They got me setup so I can attach my DSLR to the scope and on the first night got some great shots of the moon. Since my first purchase went so well, I have purchased additional accessories!

Ordered a telescope and EQ mount online from this store. Did not have any issues with them, they shipped it a couple days after I ordered and just got it today. Happy with my purchase.

I've been going here for 30 years. Business is so good right now they're a little sloppy, unprofessional but I'm sure they'll right the ship.

Dont know how but they got my husbands credit card and shipped a camera lens for 1013.00 that we did not order. Not happy

It's an ok shop. One of the better ones in the valley. Knowledgeable people but they don't seem to want to help you just want you to buy and leave. Also they aren't that beginner friendly, meaning that when I bought a camera, they said. Oh you're trying photography as a hobby in such a way that I was going to quit. A year later, I'm still doing it but won't buy gear or glass from there.

Very helpful over the phone. I could have been suckered but I wasn't. This is my place for my camera needs!

How they define their professional scans of 35mm is 25mb. None of my scans came back anywhere near that and all were at 72dpi. If that weren't enough now they seemed to have lost my negatives. What a mess

Update: this was (eventually) resolved. But the fact that it took me a dozen emails and that I was ignored for a week shows how they handle things.

They have terrible customer service. They sent me the wrong item, it took a full week (and the threat of a credit card chargeback) to get a response at all, and when I did they said the only way it would be refunded is if I pay to ship it back.

Just stay far away.

After reading comments, I actually held my breath, but ordered 102mm last week and recieved it today, totally happy that it didnt take more than a week, boyfriend loves it and cant wait to use it, wish it came with a manual though.

Awesome spot for anything camera related! Or telescopes. I rent from here all the time. Staff is very knowledgeable about products and services! Simon is my favorite always high energy and inspiring!

Quick. Friendly service. Cheap. Exactly what you need when you pop in for passport photos. He has a mirror for you to check yourself since you'll live with this photo for the next 10 years.

They have an issue with every order i place & do not respond to you until you call them over & over. The owner says she will call you back & never does. On top of that there website is constantly down. Going with Highpoint Scientific instead.

Within 5 minutes of stopping into Photo Center, I came out with a very good, well lit picture that I happily will have represent me for the next decade.
