Woodlands Indian Cusine reviews
14The Best, Like home, Had Thali and also bought mixture and sides for dinner. Amazing Fast Neat Tasty Service.
Excellent food selection and staffs were super friendly. Flavorful dishes served and the ambiance of this place is great.
Staff was GREAT. Very friendly. Place was clean. We were seated quickly. They were busy. Food was ok. I had the veg spring dosa, would not order again, not my taste.
This place is a gem in the valley. I have been coming to Woodlands for over 20 years. I remember the glorious lunch buffets (now no longer). People who used to go to Paru's (now closed) should support this business. Their dosas are delicious. They recently changed the recipe on their coconut chutney. I liked the previous version much more.
Pretty good - dosas we’re delicious - the Sambar and chutneys need a little work. Poori and Chana was nice
Wonderfully authentic food!
Well made and tasty.
Meat is not missed with their abundance of flavor and portion size.
The best South Indian restaurant I have ever been to (and I grew up in Central Jersey so I've tried dozens). Dosa and idly actually tastes fermented, I inhaled the rasam, coconut chutney was perfection, and they had delicious paan. Really attentive service and the kindest owners. Couldn't recommend it more.
Woodland is always a good experience. They may have a better regular lunch special, but I decided to ask to make it vegan. And honestly the rasam won me over.
Rasam is like an Indian hot and sour soup. Highly recommend if you feeling a little under the weather. This time I didn't order a dosa, and just focused on the thali. There were many options present as seen in the photo. One think I was less of a fan was the potato mixture which they put in a dosa as one of the curries. But I did finish everything and it was filling. Worth sharing and getting a couple of idlis or a dosa.
I'm just surprised it wasn't as packed as I had assumed it to be. During the dinner time, it usually gets packed. At the moment they are not doing the buffet but they are offering a thali.
I really enjoyed the food here, and they have exceptional service as well! Will definitely come back on a regular basis.
I go to this restaurant all the time with my friends. The owner is a great person and the menu is outstanding.
Amazing food especially if you like eating food from the southern parts of india. Has lot of options for Dosa and has north Indian dishes too in the menu. In appetizers Gobi Manchurian is amazing. In dosa almost all the option are good in taste. They have few options too for people who don’t eat onion, garlic and potatoes in their diet. The gulab jamun in dessert is okay in taste. They have pan too which is a plus. Overall a nice place for family dinner
South Indian cuisine is different from the Tadoor places that one generally finds in this area. The food is all vegan and the business is family run. Try something different!
One of the few Indian places that I have found locally that still offers thali along with friendly service. I had the vegetarian thali and really enjoyed it. I felt well cared for and satisfied. I will go back.
13 years with only phenomenal food experiences outclassed only by the service. The level of customer service is unrivaled. Very friendly staff.
