Woodlands Pet Shop, San Francisco CA

Woodlands Pet shop is a must-stop for my pup on his daily walks. He is spoiled by the friendly staffs there. Everyone there especially Jasmine and Alessandra and Cerese are super nice and treat our pets with so much joy. All dogs love coming in to try new treats. It helps us as owners to know which treats and food to buy for their dogs and not waste them. They also allow you to return kibbles if your pups don’t like them. They offer quality products and cute seasonal items.

Cute little pet boutique and the blond lady at the register was so personable and friendly. Cute place for your pets things. Also love their selection of freeze dried dog treats! And they're up high on the shelf instead of at the bottom shelf like everywhere else. Makes it easy to make selection. I recommend this store.

A nice, little boutique pet store nearby the Rincon Hill area. Really helpful staff and even provided some treat and food samples to have our puppy try out.

Nice, convenient little pet store in SOMA. I like to drop in here on walks with my dog to pick her up a toy, treats, or other supplies that I can't wait to order online. Some items are quite expensive though and selection is somewhat limited.

I had really good experience when I visited first time. Blonde lady help me to understand what’s good for my dog. I tried the few samples and visited again to buy actually dog food. There was new employees she was sitting like a robot and saying “if you need help…. ” Soullessly and I picked some cat food accidentally, she let me buy bunch of cat food.even though, I brought my dog there and ask many questions. They treated me like a bad person when I asked for refund.

The lady who owns the place is very sweet and very helpful with the needs of you pet.
You can see she loves animals.

Yesterday, I decided to go to this place to buy some stuff for my puppies. Affordable and high-quality products are in this pet shop! I was so thankful to their staves for treating me professionally. I can say that this shop is one of the best here in my area. If you are looking for a reliable shop, then you can visit them. Highly recommended!

Staff: The manager here is very informative and extremely helpful. The other two workers in this store that I’ve interacted with seem really inconvenienced or annoyed when I’ve talked to them, just my two cents. My puppy did have an accident the first time I came into the store as he got excited seeing another puppy and I profusely apologized and offered to clean it up. I just hold my puppy when I come here now, but it’s hard to shop.

Product offerings: I love looking at new local merchandise that the store has to offer, and the prices are actually pretty fair for a boutique-like experience. These include local pet toys and bakery goods. If you’re looking for a unique SF pet gift, this is the place.

I had no idea there was a pet shop so close to my apartment until I wandered by Woodlands one day while walking my then-foster pup; it was unfortunately closed that day since it was still too early in the morning but I made a mental note to visit at some point.

Fast forward to more recent times - I was asked by the rescue to foster a pup last minute (but temporarily), but I didn't have any supplies for a smaller dog. I went to Woodlands Pet Shop after work and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of variety packed into the store. I was totally lost for what to get but fortunately it wasn't busy (when I arrived I was the only one in the store) and the staff was able to provide thorough recommendations for harnesses and food; she also threw in a bunch of small sample packs for the pup to try out different brands.

To echo some of the other reviews, as a smaller, family-owned shop the prices are higher than what you'd see at big brand stores. From what I can tell though, the supplies they sell are high quality and look like they'll last a while, and the food looks healthy and good for your pets, so while I may not buy things in "bulk" here this'll be my first stop when I looking for high quality and good service:)

What a nice pet shop in the area! Very strongly recommended! Wonderful and affordable pet shop near me! I decided to buy some stuff for my newborn puppies. I was feeling grateful when your staff was very helpful and friendly in answering my concerns. I also observed that the shop was very spacious and smells so good.

I bought a cat in this shop, and I greatly loved it. From now on, I would visit your shop when looking for a pet. The place was clean, big, and fascinating. So happy we found this place. The customer service here is so great. It's close to home and there's easy parking. The ladies did a great job on my baby and she's so happy and I am too! I love that Chanell was able to give me an exact time of when my baby would be ready and sure enough as I was on my way, I received a text letting me know she was ready. I love that! It's very rare to find a groomer that gives you an exact time. Chanell is great and it's adorable that she has her own baby there with her! This place is so clean and tidy and they have the cutest clothing and accessories for the babies! Thank you so much ladies I will definitely be coming back!
