Word of Life Fellowship, Mi-Wuk Village CA

I have been there for over 50 years except for a brief time as a missionary in South America and I can tell you that the people are genuine friendly and kind. Of course, not perfect but mostly the people are real.
I was delivered out of the occult and had members in my bloodline that were 33degree masons, illuminate, and druids. This church and no other could answer my deepest questions.

Really amazing ministry here in the California highlands! Wonderful staff, beautiful campus, and so much going on! They have bible college, youth and kids ministry, mens groups, very active serve teams…. Really great stuff!

Especially with the world as it is today I miss the church, lovely miwuk village and the base family that's still there. At some point I want to work my way back home

This is my home church. To me they are not just fellow followers but they are all like my family. Always happy to see me an always there to help me when I just nees someone to talk with.

Not only have I thoroughly enjoyed every service streamed online, I am currently listening to the sermon classes on their website. I cannot thank y'all enough for the things you teach me. As for the people themselves, so welcoming and kind.truly a blessing to this world.

My family attended this church throughout my childhood. As a God fearing person, this "church" or cult like atmosphere was the worse experience a child can ever have. I have nightmares to this day on how this sick cult like church treated the kids. They mostly speak about the devil, devil this, devil that.to point of thinking about "THE DEVIL" EVERY time I enter a church today! The Pastor Thomshaw was a vicious evil battle ax that didn't like poor people and put her nose up to people who couldn't afford do give tidings and hardly gave my parents the time of day. And don't think this was massive church. My family was there in her small 50-ish member congregation in Redwood City. She did love her rich members though. Who all had front seat priority.
Don't waste your time here. They tell you, YOU CANNOT listen to the radio, the news, TV in general, can't wear make up, don't dare show up with pants on if you are a lady. And yet they pride themselves on "Word of Life. "
This ruined my outlook on ALL churches period! Yes I believe in God but how she built her church, her favorites, discriminating against the poor, she was very much a hypocrite, pretending to care for everyone. This person who founded this church and instilled her twisted beliefs will always be one with the devil in my eyes.

I grew up at this church. I left when I was 17 years old. Only to find myself back! Because of the amazing representation the pastors and church upholds. The previous comments and reviews may be an angry Person who cannot get passed offenses, in which I can attest to that comment review being untrue!
I’m an 80’s child of the church and there were rules. But nothing cult like or out of the ordinary of any and all churches.
I found refuge and breakthrough with this church! Where I found rest and hope! They are an amazing group of people whom seem to be misunderstood by those who may have past offenses they can’t get over. Over the years type church has grown into an amazing family with The heart of Christ.love and serving. Who stand for truth, and grace. I now call this place my home because it isn’t a cult but a place of freedom and love!
