Grand Master Ryu is very patient and detail oriented. After he took over the Rowland Hight location, he spent time to know each student and parent. Also provided free session to fix kid’s postures and Taekwondo Techniques. My son enjoy doing Taekwondo with Master Ryu.

My children have made great progress through Taekwondo. I remember that a year ago it was difficult for children to adapt to group classes. After more than a year of hard work, children began to slowly adapt to group classes. Taekwondo classes not only allow children to improve their physical fitness but also learn etiquette, and they also gain a lot of confidence. Without the hard work and patience of the curators and coaches, it would be really difficult for my children to be where they are now. Thank you so much. Highly recommended

My daughter started at 4.5 years old and has been attending this studio for the past 8 months for three times a week. She is in the Little Champions class and really enjoys training here. There is good energy at this Taekwondo studio. The owner, Grand Master Ryu is so jovial and approachable. He, Grand Master Song and the other instructors seem to genuinely like training the kids. (Master Song took a more active role of leading the classes at the end of this past summer.) There are always multiple instructors during the class, it's a good ratio for smaller group training. They have also had a few events outside the class. They organized a student picnic at the park around the summer time and a Halloween party for the kids. Note: They allow for a free trial.

Very family oriented and all instructors are so helpful to develop your child to achieve their best effort. Highly recommended to have your child learn Taekwondo or any martial arts for life experience.

Great place for kids to learn taekwondo, instructors are knowledgeable, attentive, care for the kids to learn the martial art in their own pace.

Our son has been attending World Champion TaeKwonDo for a little over 2 months now. At first he was very hesitant but Ms. Vicka, Master Song and the team have made him feel right at home. In the short time he’s attended he’s built confidence in himself, enjoys class, and is learning to be more disciplined.

Our children have enjoyed attending World Champion Tae Kwon Do for several years. We initially sent our son to TKD to build his confidence and focus as he entered kindergarten. Throughout the years, not only has Master Ryu and the team supported in building those unique skills, but also strengthened to build character in and out of the studio. He believes in promoting TKD mastery as well as focusing on the student's social and emotional well-being. Master Ryu and the staff are professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. There may be several TKD studios in Diamond Bar, but none will compare to the high quality that Master Ryu upholds. We are very happy to be part of the WCTA family.

World Champion Taekwondo Academy is awesome! Master Ryu and instructors are skilled, passionate, and committed to students' success. The facilities are great, and everyone feels like family. And they really focus on discipline and respect. My son love it. Highly recommended!

My eldest daughter has been practicing Taekwondo here for a year and a half, and her younger sister also joined the training this year without hesitation. After training, they are now healthier and happier. They like coming here very much.

This is a great Academy, all Masters are friendly with the kids and general students, high quality, very good discipline. It helps to have a good mental and physical health. I 100% recommend this Academy for all ages.

We enrolled my daughter in WCTA just under two years ago when she was 6 yrs old because we felt it would be a good life learning experience for her. Learning the importance of discipline and of practicing are great building blocks. It wasn't easy early on as she had a rough time. We did not give up and more importantly, she did not give up on herself, even though I'm sure she wanted to at times. Almost two years later, she is a super red belt, with so much more confidence in herself, and we believe WCTA played a big part in her growth and confidence. It has been a great journey and we are grateful and blessed to be apart of this WCTA family. Grandmaster Ryu is a world champion but he and his team do not teach just the physical part of taekwondo (ie. Kicking and punching). They also teach the importance of respect, discipline, love, etc. It is a very balanced program. His team of instructors are exceptional and you can tell they really love teaching taekwondo.

My kids have learned at World Champion with Master Ryu for over one year. They really enjoy every moment here. I highly recommend Master Ryu. He really knows how to teach the little ones.

The space is always clean, the staff is always helpful and friendly. Grand Master Ryu is one of the best Taekwondo instructors. My daughters have been coming here since June of this year and they love it. Master Ryu is very kind and always tries to get to know his students. My girls are definitely more confident since coming here. The girls are now going to test for a green belt and all of the Instructors are doing their best to instruct them. The girls have now been here for over a year and they are still enjoying it very much.
