I came to the area for work a month ago and ordered from here on a delivery app. I really enjoyed it. I ended up coming here tonight and absolutely love the place! And how is the corn so good? Tiffany was my server and made the experience great. Would recommend!

Shout out to Erica (or Erika? Idk), she's the manager and really helped me out on a take-out order that I was a bit unsatisfied with. Thank you!

First time eating here and it was very clean and kept up. Service was quick to seat us and very pleasant with a smile. Food took a bit to get to the table, but is was very tasty. So don't be ready for a quick luncheon.

Just like Wood Ranch but more of a smaller menu. The bread always rocks, but the brisket and other food here is way too salty. Outdoor area so you can bring your pets.

Was with a group for ladies night out. They had us on the patio.the BBQ smells were making me so hungry. Got the tri tip salad and was great.service was great also. Wood ranch is still as good as ever.

Too pricey for what's served, greasy food, sticky table (maybe just ours). But the lady server was fast, friendly, and flawless. Kindness from servers is always great.

M (a) cKenzie was our server. Not sure if its with an A or not. Great smile, personality and attitude. Seemed to be running a big section by herself but everyone seemed to be taken care of. Been to quite a few Wood Ranch restaurants and she was definitely one of the best. Food, delivery, presentation were all top notch. Definitely ask for her section when you visit! - K. Block

I went to WR Kitchen & Bar for lunch by myself.

The atmosphere here is excellent, and the service is great too. The place smells amazing!
I had the pulled pork tacos, which came with 3 street tacos, the taste was good, but the amount of pulled pork was not enough; the avocado and slaw overpowered the meat.
I will come back to try the ribs.
Thank you for a nice lunch.

My dining experience at Wood Ranch in Dana Point, CA, was nothing short of phenomenal. Having previously enjoyed the food at their Irvine location, my expectations were high, and I'm delighted to report that WR Kitchen Dana Point met and exceeded those expectations. With a mouthwatering menu, impeccable service, and the added bonus of no wait time, it was a 5-star experience all around.

We were thrilled to discover that the menu at the Dana Point location was the same as the one we love at the Irvine location. Eager to dive into the delicious offerings, we ordered the barbacoa street tacos, hot wings, and Shishido peppers. Each dish was prepared to perfection, with a beautiful balance of flavors that left us craving more.

One thing to note about the barbacoa street tacos is that they pack a spicy punch. They were even spicier than the hot wings, which may be something to consider if you're not able to handle much heat. My girlfriend had a bit of a hard time with the tacos, but as someone who loves spice, I thoroughly enjoyed them. The hot wings had just the right amount of heat to satisfy our taste buds, while the Shishido peppers were a delightful surprise - a unique and tasty appetizer that we will undoubtedly order again on future visits. To complement our meal, we enjoyed a refreshing margarita and a smooth glass of red wine, both of which were expertly crafted.

What truly set our experience at Wood Ranch Kitchen in Dana Point apart was the stellar service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring that our dining experience was seamless from start to finish. It was a refreshing change of pace from the often crowded and bustling Irvine location, which had an hour and a half wait on the same evening.

In summary, our visit to Wood Ranch's Dana Point restaurant was an exceptional dining experience that we won't soon forget. With a delicious menu reminiscent of the Irvine location, outstanding service, and the added bonus of no wait time, we couldn't have asked for a better night out. Just be mindful of the spice level in the barbacoa street tacos if you're sensitive to heat. We will undoubtedly return to Wood Ranch and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a top-notch dining experience in the area. Five stars, without a doubt!

The structure, beams, chandelier, lights all make for such a cozy environment for lunch or dinner. Had a great margarita and enjoyed a family dinner here. Will definitely be back for the experience. Service was good as well. Best restaurant I’ve been to in Laguna Niguel.

Its been a year since we last came. The ordering is now standard server taking your order. The tritip sandwich is great and plenty for lunch

Last week I visited a WR Kitchen & Bar by Wood Ranch in Laguna Niguel and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, the aroma of smoked meats wafted through the air, and I knew I was in for a treat.
The restaurant had a rustic decor with wooden tables and chairs, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. It made me remember a bbq place in Texas. Also it had several booths along the wall. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and they promptly seated me and handed me a menu.
The menu was extensive, with a wide variety of meats and sides to choose from. We decided to order a three item combo with the classic brisket, pulled pork and half chicken with Cauliflower HOT Wings sauce and coleslaw with peanuts on the side. When the food arrived, I was blown away by the generous portions and mouthwatering presentation.
The brisket was tender and juicy, with a perfect smoky flavor, and the pulled pork was succulent and flavorful. The sides were equally impressive, with the mac and cheese being creamy and rich, and the coleslaw being crisp and refreshing with lots of peanuts.
Overall, I would highly recommend WR Kitchen & Bar restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal. The food was great, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was just right for a casual dining experience. I love coming here with a big group of people and have a family style dinner

Showed up on President’s Day around 2: 00pm. Our server was overwhelmed as the manager (female in burgundy sweater) spent her time chatting with someone at the bar and not seeing that the bar counter was clean and customers were tended to. Food was good, decent portions and pricing. Management needs some training.

Good food, slow service. Expensive for the small portions. Good for a light meal. 3 small tacos for $17 they do have beer and wine for your meal. The dining room is nice and we got seated right away. Service was a bit slow even though we went very early.
