They don’t know how to cut Afro hair. The lady was also rude and kept asking me “what do you want? ” I think the language barrier also makes it hard to tell them what you want. Ultimately, I was very displeased!

Been consistently going to X9 this past year and the experience have been great. Alex has been cutting my hair since I've first stepped into X9. He is patient, highly detailed oriented and gave suggestions based off of my concerns. I would highly recommend going to Alex for your next haircut.

My regular spot. I've gone to 3 separate barbers and all did a great job. Alex is my guy but don't be afraid to just walk in and sit with anyone.

Great place but it’s always hard to understand due to language barrier. I called for an appointment at a certain time and when I showed up there they told me it was a different time when they don’t know how to pronounce the time I was told and what they thought is that it was my fault when it wasn’t. They all need work more on their pronunciation!

Young artistic vibe and culture. Great haircuts for a reasonable price (hard to find in the bay area these days) Professional, but a touch aggressive with the buzzer. Overall, worth checking out.

Alex is a MUST BOOK! He is very detailed with his cuts and definitely deserves a lot of praise. This was my third visit in this barbershop and my first time with Alex, and also the first time I felt like my complicated hair was cut perfectly! Again, book with Alex!

Leaving this review is bittersweet since I would love to gate keep Henry, but his talent deserves public praise and therefore I had to extend my gratitude to him and X9 Barbershop on here. I have been going to Henry for over a year now, 1-2 times per month, and I will continue to come to Henry as long as he cuts hair. Each and every time I stand up from Henry’s chair, I’m blown away by the quality of his haircut. Henry is methodical and will make micro adjustments to your head positioning to get the perfect angle for his cuts. He is straight business. I can’t thank him enough. Henry, you are a hair engineer and artist. See you in 2 weeks

Amazing barbershop! I usually see Bryan who is very hard to get an appointment with but other stylists are equally good!
