Xécora Gastronomía Urbana, El Monte CA

1st time at Xecora didnt know what to spect. I got tacos governador. The tortilla was toasty almost of flavor special sauce was delicious. I cant wait for my next visit.

Ceviche was fresh and delicious. The drinks were just okay, definitely priced too high for what was received.

This place has terrible service. It was slow and yet had to wait an hour for my food to arrive. Waitress kept passing me without a care. A family came in after me and got their food before me. The food itself was decent but way overpriced.

This is my 3rd time here, and I live in Phoenix, AZ. I was so excited that my husband is here with me this time so he can finally eat what I've been raving about. He's Mexican, loves Mexican food, and we were up for mariscos this morning. Xecora really reminds me of our trips to Mexico. The food, drinks, everything was great. Thank you for making it a great end to our CA weekend trip! Can't wait to go back.

Loved the food and the Aguas Frescas. The place Decor is beautiful too. I had the Carne Asada Plate with handmade Corn Tortillas. My mom had a Breakfast Plate, the Chilaquiles Rojos and Eggs. I loved the Agua de Pepino con Limon. Also that Salsa they serve with the Chips is great. Will need to revisit this place again & hopefully soon.

The sea food is amazing, the service seems like its always understaffed, they do not have enough waiters, so expect some delays on your food and drinks

Tremendous surprise, the best octopus I have eaten in years.very good atmosphere, super extremely clean, very attentive staff.

I stoped by for lunch, I walked in I made eye contact with the girl working the bar, I proceeded to set a a table and waited, after 5 min I got up and got myself a menu, I waited an other 5 min. 2 people working there saw me, but never said we be with you in a moment or any other words at all. They only had 2 other customers in the whole restaurant, and it was in the middle of the lunch hour. So after an other 5 minutes I left. It it was a waste of a trip

Food is really good drinks are really good fairly priced and great service can’t ask for more than that definitely coming back highly recommend

First time here, came with family members who highly recommend the place, unfortunately, they said the ceviches that night were not as good as they should be, although the grilled octopus and grilled fish were quite good.

So so good, perfectly crunchy and the lavender sparkling lemonade is perfect for a hot day (refreshing). Will definitely be coming back

Who doesn't like being offered coffee at breakfast? Well, this is not that place, if you ask for coffee, they tell you, no refills, and having to wait for your food to arrive, by then your coffee is cold, what do we do?

Best seafood I've had in a long time. Very rich in flavor! Cooked to perfection. Will definitely go back.
