Average Shisha, bouncer quite rude, the whole place was empty but they didn’t let us sit in any of the tables, just a corner table with uncomfortable chairs.

This was my first time in LA and this place is definitely the best spot around! Bella was our waitress and she was sooo sweet and attentive! She got us seated right away in a cute decorated couch section for my friend’s birthday. She brought us amazing martinis to start with, and she recommended a hookah flavor (dragon fruit with watermelon and other fruits blended) the hookah was too good! She then came with sparklers and shots to turn up the celebration for my friend’s birthday! Bella was such an amazinnggg waitress and the overall vibe of this place was great. Thanks again for making my friend’s birthday special Bella! <3

I love this place. My first time coming here for my birthday and the experience was amazing. The view from the lounge is one to remember. Bella was so sweet and wonderful! She made sure we were good at all times and we will be coming here again!

I had a great time here for my birthday! Bella was my server and she was amazing. She was very attentive and made my birthday special. The vibe of the hookah lounge was unmatched and the view was perfect. Bella made sure my first time at Yama Shisha was not only comfortable but something memorable. When I come back to town I will definitely make sure to ask for her to be my server. I will recommend Bella as a server to anyone I know that comes to Yama Shisha!

This place is AMAZING! Not only the views are spectacular but the service from Bella is top notch. The hookah is smooth and everyone is kind and attentive.

This place is incredible! The ambiance is perfection! The hookah is chef’s kiss, and the views are unreal! Definitely a hidden gem!

The only nice thing about this place was the view. We had to pay $25 for parking. Each water is $10. The hookah was $75 and was mid… The service was disappointing. I came with a group of 5 girls, we ordered tea and drinks. Then a group after us arrived, was served, and received their Shisha and their order before us. We continued to wait and our tea and drinks never came…we saw like 3 different customers come, wait to be served, then leave after not getting any service. 2-3 hours later we ask for the check, and the waitress had added a 22% service fee… for what service? We didn’t even get what we ordered. Never going here again, extremely disappointed.

The atmosphere and how this sits on top of the hill is the best thing about this place. I don't mind spending money on experiences and good food but this was an overall miss. Note it's $10 for water (they will not give you tap) and a vodka cranberry, tequila soda (all literally cheap liquor) is $25 a drink, and they are not strong. The food was the most disgusting I have ever had in Los Angeles. I mean let's get real the drinks too. Even my local dives are better.

We ordered the hummus and it tasted like grainy earth like spread. More like dirt. Store bought hummus would have honestly been drastically better and the pita it arrived with was stale/dry.

The view is nice and it’s nicely decorated but I just don't think this is "it" which is very sad bc it has POTENTIAL. The belly dancer came out at 12: 50am on this day (Friday) and by that point the overall experience was terribly sad.

I personally don’t know how this business can survive with the quality of food, drinks and general experience being IMMENSELY below par for what you are paying.

Yama Shisha has the best service, food, and hookah. Try their chicken kabobs and the blueberry mint hookah. Their music is such a vibe and they have belly dancers on the weekend. Ask for Aya when you are there she is the best. Best place and truly a hidden gem.

My friends and I came to Yamashiro for my bday dinner on Sat then came to Yama Shisha afterwards. Angel, the guy working at the front at Yama Shisha, was the best! He was so awesome to our party of 4. He let us pick whether we wanted a booth or window seat. We chose the booth. None of us had ever been here before.

We absolutely loved it! The vibe, music, decor, and service was amazing! My friends told him it was my birthday and Angel made sure they would take care of me. I was surprised to a staff of a few people singing happy birthday to me with some sparklers and a beautiful fruit platter! The DJ also sang happy birthday. Lol! They were all so kind and amazing! Such a lovely surprise!

This lounge had the best music, entertainment, atmosphere, etc, everything! We spent more time here than at dinner. Lol! Highly recommend this lounge and we def will be back! Shout out to worker, Angel, for being so awesome to us!

This place is the best and not to mention the girl there has the cutest dog I’ve ever seen I think his name is papa bear
