Yaya's Taco Shop reviews
14Stopped in for some Menudo and a quesabirria it was absolutely phenomenal! By far the best food I’ve ever eaten really is the best!
Staff was nice and food tasted alright, but it’s extremely overpriced and I took a piece of pork bone to the the roof of my mouth. For those reasons it got a 1 star review. Doesn’t feel good taking a sharp jagged bone to the roof of your mouth. Sorry for the review but nobody should have a bone go through their mouth and the price of everything was insane.
Always enjoy stopping in if and when in the area. Great Birria great service and great prices
I bought 3 burritos, 2 carne asada and 1 lengua, tongue, for me. After a couple of bites, I noticed that the texture was odd, but went ahead and ate most of it. Within a few minutes of finishing burrito, I started having stomach problems. Within 1 hour, I got diarrhea along with stomach cramps. This went on for hours, through the night. The was the 1st time I had a burrito from there and I don't know that I'll try another one again.
The other 2 people didn't experience any problems, so perhaps it was just the meat in mine. It was a uncomfortable experience.
Taco Tuesdays! Great place for a quick authentic meal. Their Aguas and blended energy drinks can't be beat. The pastor is my favorite. Perfect in the taco salad, tacos or even the "queso pizzas".
Saw their taco tuesday sign for street tacos out front and decided to try them. We got the carne asada and chicken and both were great. Very good flavor and not to spicy. Will definitely be back.
This place is fantastic, it's a little off the path but that was fine. I wish I would have taken pictures here but I was engrossed with good conversation by the time my food came out. I got the breakfast burrito which featured chorizo as the protein instead of bacon or sausage. Now normally I am not a fan of chorizo in general, it has to be freshly made not store bought. This one I couldn't tell you where they got it but it was freaking good. I'm glad I came by here and if I find myself here soon I'll be heading back. If your in Corning, the place of Olives ironically and not corn, check this spot out.
Food was not good. I even tried to give it another chance once and was still disappointed. I was excited to try it out but was very disappointed in the Food and the owner. Food had no flavor, over priced, and just overall not good. Food only looks like its for aesthetics but the food didn't taste as good as it looked. Not only this but the owner has been very rude to passed street vendors and current vendors claiming they are taking away customers when they never have any in the first place.
Please don't support this business and support the food truck across instead
I tried Yaya's for the 1st time; It was disgusting, i ordered the Chk enchiladas and the Chk did not look like Chk, it was tiny hard little dark pieces. YUK; Not to mention the servings (rice&beans) where the size of a golf ball. You've been warned people
I want to love this place. I want to be able to support them but I just cannot even reccomend them. They are beyond inconsistent. Today all of our food was burt & my birria ramen didn't have any broth only grease. I couldn't even eat it. So many people love them and I just don't understand why.
Why is it when I go I don't get the best service. I ordered posole ($15) that they posted on Facebook.so its already cooked. I was the second order. I waited 40 minutes to get my order while the customer behind me got her food before me! I get home and its full of bones!
Carne asada nachos were cold and had a pool of clear grease at the bottom. Meat had obviously just come out of a refrigerator. Chicken tacos were equally bad. Disappointing since Corning is such a hotspot for fantastic taquerias.
This was our third time dinning at YaYa's and we absolutely love the food everytime. Our favorite is the quesabirria quesadilla and tacos, however today we tried the Chaskas, and OMG so delicious. The young ladies at the counter always are very kind, and helpful. We always get our food Togo so we can't comment on the service, but I'm sure it's great. The only thing we could possibly suggest would be to add seasons ground meat to the line up, and to be available on doordash. If you live here in town or are just passing though for sure give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.
